Why should i choose you? I have been searching for a new server for a long time since the server I was a admin on died out. I'm hoping I can help this server become a great hit and look awesome.

Will you play in the server afterwards? Yes I will

Do you have any roleplaying skills?: Not in particular, but it would not be hard to learn, and I would learn it quickly so I can stay on the server.

Screenshots of your past works: Instead of spamming a huge amount of photos, I'll link you to several places that have multiple photos.

A small hamlet I created, in a map I was creating SSP.

I am interested in being part of this project. I don't have a ton of experience with worldedit or voxel, but I do excel at building by hand in medieval style. I can provide pictures if you want some proof.

I can make my eyeballs jiggle or shake in their sockets. I'm not sure how I do it, because it takes no effort to do it. I have witnessed plenty of people try to copy me, only to ask; "Am I doing it right?" , followed by me laughing because all they are doing is scrunching their face up and shaking their whole head.

Chapter Two ~ The Starting of an Empire

The port of Corbenic swiftly became the talk of merchants all over the Baltica, and many wished to set up shop in they hoped to be a new gold mine of wealth. Before any of them could take action on their dreams however, Corbenic’s first trade store opened.

The new store was owned by Moljnir Stonefist, the son of the most popular shop in former Ironcross. The store was situated next to the warehouse, and bordered by the newly made retaining wall dividing Corbenic into two tiers.

The interior of the shop was rather simplistic, with a large counter and some fliers on the walls.

However, it was the talk of the town of how Moljnir and his wife’s living quarters were under the shop. The town’s gossips had much to gab about, of how this was never seen before for a trader of any prestige.

King Tiberius welcomed the opening of his towns first shop, and even gave Moljnir a small amount of gold for his hurriedness in creating it.

Within the week, the newest establishment of Corbenic was finished, to the dismay of all women, and the joy of all men. The Kings Head Inn brought to Corbenic a place to drink your troubles away, and lay your head over night.

The innkeeper, Marvalo Gaunt, was very happy with how business instantly took off, as men of all sorts gathered in his establishment and paid for his rooms. Tiberius himself would visit the inn, and sample the great beer while mingling with his citizens.

The interior of the inn viewed by the bar.

The standout of the inn however was the VIP room upstairs. Reserved for only those with the most coin, it was fit for a King, and held a nice view of the bay through a grand window.

Much to King Tiberius’ surprise, another merchant wished to set up shop in Corbenic, but not just any merchant. The wealthy Francis Drake wished to restart his Jewelery business in Corbenic, as his shop in the Old Port Malburg was razed to the ground. The building was quickly erected, and was the first colourful building in Corbenic. It was situated in the far corner of the harbors dock area, beside the stairs leading to the towns second tier.

The gossips gathered everyone’s curiosity yet again, with how the interior was only outfitted as a personal dwelling for his family.

Quelling the hushed talks of the wierd merchant who didn't build his promised shop, Francis then bought the small plot left beside the house, and set up a market stall where he would sell his wares.

King Tiberius was proud of how his town was quickly progressing. However, he could not get the nagging feeling of the needed protection of Corbenic out of his head. Not wanting a repeat in history of what happened to Ironcross; Tiberius withdrew to his quarters on the Midnight Pale, and started drawing up plans for the defense of Corbenic.

I thought I recognised that vessel, I too used one of his ships to arrive at what would become my Island of Dolton. Which I really ought to post a large update for, (Skyrim has reeled me back into it's loving embrace it seems).

Anyway, it's looking great so far, and your storytelling is simply divine.
This is definatly a thread i'll be reading often.

Why thank you, it was your thread that I first saw the ships, and I draw inspiration from. The writing is definately the hardest part, the way I wish to make this project progress.

    Great start!

I love your harbour crane...credit to you if a similar crane suddenly appears in Hambeck :-)

Why I would be honored to see it in Hambeck =)
    Quote from Korivak

Having hand-built the ship in my port city thread, I agree that making a convincing ship is difficult. Nice work on the curving line of the dock. . . I'm going to have to use that as a reminder to not always build in straight lines and sharp corners on my own projects.

    Looking forward to more!

Straight lines and sharp corners are the bane of building in Minecraft, according to my tuitor from the medieval sever I used to be part of. Thanks for the compliment.

Having been extremely busy the past many days, I will finaly be adding an update tonight or tomorrow, based on how long it takes me to come up with the writing for my new photos.

This building project is one of a countless number inspired by the many port towns and cities stemming from The Port of Hambeck. I hope to update fairly frequently, but they may take longer due to school and being on a rugby team. I hope you enjoy.

    Backstory

Prince Tiberius, the eldest son of the mighty King Ivan of Ironcross, had finally arrived in Western Baltica. It had been two months since his ship Midnight Pride, and the rest of his fleet containing the survivors of his father’s kingdom, had fled its smoldering ruins being decimated by bandits and marauders. Coming from far beyond the lands of the Baltica Ocean, Tiberius had no idea what to expect in this new land, in which he only knew of from an old dusty map from the Royal Library before it burned. The only thing he knew was that he must start from scratch in these unfamiliar parts, and rebuild his dead fathers destroyed legacy.

    Chapter One ~ The Arrival

Having traveled at sea for two months, Tiberius and the citizens of his father’s former kingdom grew weary to reach their destination in Western Baltica. Having sailed based on only the use of ancient maps from the Royal Library, many believed Tiberius was leading them to their deaths, as several people had succumbed to disease already.

Tiberius’ flagship, the mighty Midnight Pale, sailing the wide Baltica Ocean.

“Land ho!” cried the lone soldier manning the crow’s nest. They had finally made it to their new home.

Tiberius spent no time dawdling, and ordered the cargo ships to start unloading, and workers create the docks of the new town. First the wooden support posts were erected in the water, followed by the creation of the holding wall.

The creation of the loading dock where all cargo would be dealt with was created, along with lining the water front with cobble stone.

The ports new crane was then built, and the town’s first building, the harbor warehouse, was erected. The new warehouse will keep all of the towns goods secure, and also will also function as the tax office for goods entering and leaving the town.

Views of the interior of the warehouse and the tax office.

That evening, he called all the citizens together to vote on what the town’s name should be. Tiberius told of the legend of a great city that was heralded as a promised land, which had started under the same circumstances of theirs. It was all agreed that this new towns name shall be Corbenic, and Tiberius was crowned as the first King of this new kingdom.

King Tiberius knew much work was to be done yet, but he had great hopes for his future city state.

Note: The ship is an imported schematic, as I cannot build a ship to save my life. Credit goes to Sillouete on Planet Minecraft, all I did was change the colours some. Go give him some diamonds here http://www.planetmin...trading-vessel/
