    Try something like this:

    /particle iconcrack_35_10 ~ ~2 ~ .1 200 .1 0 5000

    this should render a blue pole going upwards, although I may have gotten the block ids wrong

    Use this website:

    http://mcstacker.bimbimma.com

    All you have to do is use the add entity button, and stack FallingSand entitys.

    make the very last FallingSand a redstone block, and every other block a redstone block, and every block in between a command block.

    then use the TileEntityData to put commands into the command block, by putting this in the TileEntityData Slot:

    {Command:/say hi}

    here is a example:

    /summon FallingSand ~ ~1 ~ {Tile:redstone_block,Block:redstone_block,Time:1,Riding:{id:"FallingSand",Tile:command_block,Block:command_block,TileEntityData:{Command:/say hello},Time:1,Riding:{id:"FallingSand",Tile:redstone_block,Block:redstone_block,Time:1,Riding:{id:"FallingSand",Tile:command_block,Block:command_block,TileEntityData:{Command:/tellraw @p {text:"Hello",color:gold}},Time:1,Riding:{id:"FallingSand",Tile:redstone_block,Block:redstone_block,Time:1,Riding:{id:"FallingSand",Tile:command_block,Block:command_block,TileEntityData:{Command:/fill ~ ~ ~ ~15 ~-5 ~ stone 0 replace air 0},Time:1,Riding:{id:"FallingSand",Tile:redstone_block,Block:redstone_block,Time:1,Riding:{id:"FallingSand",Tile:command_block,Block:command_block,Time:1,Riding:{id:"FallingSand",Tile:redstone_block,Block:redstone_block,Time:1,Riding:{id:"FallingSand",Tile:command_block,Block:command_block,Time:1,Riding:{id:"FallingSand",Tile:redstone_block,Block:redstone_block,Time:1}}}}}}}}}}}

    posted a message on [Help] Keep some inventory on death?
    I think what you could do is the /replaceitem command. For example, you could replace all of the non-hotbar slots with something that is unobtainable in your server, such as bedrock.

    /replaceitem entity @a[score_Death_min=1] slot.inventory.6 bedrock 1 0

    just do this for every slot that's not on the hotbar.

    then do this command:

    /clear @a bedrock 1 0

    oh yeah. And the scoreboard is like this:

    /scoreboard objectives add Death deathCount

    and then also do this command:

    /scoreboards players reset @a[score_Death_min=1] xDeath

    the x stands for the multiplication symbol

    also, make sure you run all of these commands on a fill clock

    I think it would be less laggy if you separated the PrimedTNT entities with item with negative life time that immediately despawn.

    The FallingSand does instantly despawn

    posted a message on Command Block - Make explosion without damage to player/other-entities (and customization)
    Quote from Skylinerw»

    Perhaps you should explain the purpose of it, since removing damage to both terrain and entities, as well as removing all visuals and sounds, essentially means you don't need an explosion whatsoever.

    I realize how obvious that is now, like a day or two later. But, /particle would add visuals, and /playsound would add sound effects, plus /game rule DoMobGreifing false and summoning an invisible creeper would allow you to essentially control every aspect of the explosion.
