I think I know what your talking about, but let me just check so if the land has been generated all ready passive will not spawn on it, but if I go in a spot that isn't generated I have chance to find mobs?
My creative world has a glass ceiling and a stone floor, but I have made about a 30x30 grass area to hope for passive mobs to test something, but they will not spawn, aggressive will though. Is there some thing I am doing wrong or does placed dirt and glass effect spawning?
Copy the top grass texture, put it over the side grass texture, and erase part of it so only a top slice shows. If lighting is an issue, brighten the side grass.
A lot of you are thinking its a different problem then it is. Look at picture now.
When screwing with the textures before I never noticed this problem with the grass. How do you get the top of the grass to match the side? And the side darkens where the old grass would go.
So... a texturepack completely for using in creative mode to make pixel art? Seems... Pointless if you ask me. If you do that, you should just use MSPaint... To make pixel-y art that is.

I was watching some minecraft speed art. I thought for a moment, and what if you had each block fitting 10 colors and 5 shades of each so it would be much easier to do pixel art. We have creative mode so it has become very easy. I know some people will not like this idea because it kinda ruins the feel, but it still would be a good idea.

Hey just looking for a small server, but I don't know if I will be able to play on the server some servers don't work for me.
So I have not played minecraft is a while and I went on today and when minecraft starts it does everything normal but then it gets to the main menu shows the back ground then crashes then pops up a black screen. I have tried force update reinstall.
