posted a message on I've thrown around 100 eggs, and haven't spawned any chickens.

What are you throwing them against? If you are throwing them on a fence post, a chick will not pop out. Ever. (personal experiences) They will only pop out if an egg is thrown against a full block. (eg: Grass Block, Dirt, Wooden Planks) They will not pop out if thrown against a block that is not full. (eg: Fence Posts, Hoppers) There are a few articles on Gamepedia: Gamepedia Article on the Egg, and Egg Farming Article. Check them out. They might help.

    /kill the entity(s)

    then

    /tp @e[type=item] @p

Just Curious, but how does that work?

You can also dye a sheep's wool by using a dye, such as bone meal or ink sac, on them (RMB). If you breed two sheeps with the same color, their baby will have their color too. If they have different colors, the baby will have an additive color mix (eg.: white + blue sheep = light blue baby). [2]

Okay. I have found quite a few in Patch 5 on my Wii U, so I think that they are rarer now than they were in Patch 5 on the Wii U.

I have been trying to find a way to collect mob loot with the /kill command. I want to kill a specific entity, but I want to collect the loot from it. Does anyone know how to do that?

Java - 16 colors - Black, Red, Green, Brown, Blue, Purple, Cyan, Light Gray, Gray, Pink, Lime, Yellow, Light Blue, Magenta, Orange, and White.

    That's 35:15, 35:14, 35:13, 35:12, 35:11, 35:10,35:9, 35:8, 35:7, 35:6, 35:5, 35:4, 35:3, 35:2, 35:1, 35:0.

You can apply dye to any colored sheep to change the color of wool it provides until you apply a different color dye. I have a ranch with 2 sheep of each color. It is needed with Redstone.

I know all of these colors can be resulted in dying a sheep, but I am talking about Naturally Spawning Sheep Colors
Also, I play on Legacy Console Edition.

    Quote from TheMasterCaver»

I'm pretty sure they mean naturally spawning sheep, in which case they only come in brown and pink in addition to white, light gray, gray, and black (the grayscale colors):

Thank you! I knew this already, but I wanted to make sure. I mean, I knew about the brown, not the pink. I have pink dye in one of my chests, and I just found this pink sheep next to my house, so I thought somebody may have let one of my sheep loose, and dyed it pink.

Does anyone know the colors that you can find natural sheep in, other than Grayscale colors?

I know what Hermit craft is. My point is MC is way to easy as it is even as a "thriving" game. Adding in keep inventory just makes it that much easier when it's ALREADY too easy.

Ugg I just CAN'T STAND keep inventory! Then dying is like a "whatever it's all good.". Minecraft is WAYYYY to easy as it is put in keep inventory and you might as well just play peaceful.

It is for map making. I put "keepInventory" for me for whenever I try to make maps. BTW, HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!

Does anyone know what the ninth cat should be for the cat contest for the new "Village and Pillage" update? I think it should be some resemblance to this:
