    Of course it does, and we have been pretty productive so far. We got a forum for the necessary discussion of stuff, and we even got a coder who already coded a very early prototype of the mod. It's only a portal-system, some blocks and the dimensions and their generation, but hey, it's a start :D

    I remember the forum :) I kinda left MC a while back >.> but good to see this is still going!

    Hey, first off I want to say I really love this mod and its great! :D But I have one little (Or not so little :P)) suggestion: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1020295-random-textures-for-blocks-adds-more-variation-to-minecraft/ I think it would be great. If you could just make it work similarly to Randomobs (Terrain.png 1/2/3/4 and let it choose randomly, or maybe just separate files like in animated textures.) I think it would be awesome!

    I really like this pack, but there's one thing that really bothers me: water and lava. Why not use the newer textures? That's it really, great pack! +1

    You know, normally I would rant on you, because you sound a bit too destructive to me. However, your arguments are quite valid.

    1. That's part of the small ministory: The endermen are invading other dimensions to eat them up and turn them into a wasteland. They are able to teleport around the place, so, if they have unlimited freedom concerning the wrapping of space, they should be able to teleport around dimensions, too. So they teleport to the dimensions, try to harm them. Why? Dunno, they are probably bored, made for destruction or just plain griefing assholes. So, in order to defeat them, you need to use their pearls(and thus their ability to teleport), get to the various dimensions until you can acces their homeworld, and then kick their ass.
    That's at least how I heard it. It's still a quite work-in-progress.
    2. Hehe, good point. You actually catched me off-guard. Though while not exactly an endermen, the enderbeing of the water dimensin really needs a good excuse to be in water without harm. Hydrophobic scales maybe?
    3. Well, if you don't like the idea right now, you could just show us how you would do it. To be productive, you sometimes need some sceptics on board. You could just tell what things are wrong for you, and if there really is a logic hole or complainment that needs to be fixed, we will probably do so.

    aren't just the endermen harmed by water? i think that all other enderbeing shouldnt and just have another weakness. maybe the endereeels would be light as it lives somewhere deep?

    PS: why are the forums down?

    I am gonna be the drowned gods acolyte for sure. just not legitly :P

    anyways, you should rename the steps into this:
    1. In the deep
    2. is where ill die
    3. but what is dead
    4. may never die

    What is dead may never die, but rises again, harder and stronger!

    because the game-console states there are 177 recipes on load, and the wiki lists 177, too. it says 174 in the text on top though. but i counted.
    the only things not counted are smelting-recipes, which are listed as follows:
    addSmelting(Block.oreIron.blockID, new ItemStack(Item.ingotIron));
    addSmelting(Block.oreGold.blockID, new ItemStack(Item.ingotGold));
    addSmelting(Block.oreDiamond.blockID, new ItemStack(Item.diamond));
    addSmelting(Block.sand.blockID, new ItemStack(Block.glass));
    addSmelting(Item.porkRaw.shiftedIndex, new ItemStack(Item.porkCooked));
    addSmelting(Item.beefRaw.shiftedIndex, new ItemStack(Item.beefCooked));
    addSmelting(Item.chickenRaw.shiftedIndex, new ItemStack(Item.chickenCooked));
    addSmelting(Item.fishRaw.shiftedIndex, new ItemStack(Item.fishCooked));
    addSmelting(Block.cobblestone.blockID, new ItemStack(Block.stone));
    addSmelting(Item.clay.shiftedIndex, new ItemStack(Item.brick));
    addSmelting(Block.cactus.blockID, new ItemStack(Item.dyePowder, 1, 2));
    addSmelting(Block.wood.blockID, new ItemStack(Item.coal, 1, 1));
    addSmelting(Block.oreCoal.blockID, new ItemStack(Item.coal));
    addSmelting(Block.oreRedstone.blockID, new ItemStack(Item.redstone));
    addSmelting(Block.oreLapis.blockID, new ItemStack(Item.dyePowder, 1, 4));

    no this has been known a long time. but does this code say you can smelt coal, redstone and lapis too? or am i reading it wrong, as i dont code myself?
