Why not remove GUIs from a few things so we can scare the idiots away on purpose? Seriously why ENCOURAGE humanity to be more stupid than it already is.
seriously stop bumping your own thread unless you're ADDING something. more information or more downloads. all these mods get added to One Stop Mod Shop as it is so they are really easy to find. Let things that are changing get bumped
Updated/uploaded ScrollingTime, ScalingUI, Charcoal and Chainmail to match client 1.2.6. Tomorrow sometime i'll work on the rewrite for the fowl. Hope you enjoy.
Updated ServerHistory, WorldsPlus and BetterFood. Have charcoal and scroll the time updated but dont have time to package and upload them just yet. Will finish the rest of the updates after work tonight.
I had an idea in mind about crafting something with the EXACT same crafting recipe as craftable fire... it would be something that is infinite smelting :3 Mind making a mod for that?
From your decompiler. jd-gui or jad or whatever. I was only covering setting up eclipse. Not everyone needs to decompile to make mods (making mods for Risugamis' ModLoader for example). You can google for jd-gui fairly easily and use it to view the source of any *.class file. Saving makes a *.java file though decompilers are not perfect and anything with a try/catch block, enums, and some other things might have issues that you have to hand tweak to get to a point it can be recompiled without causing bugs.
In a lot of cases your decompiled class will have a few issues that will show up as red warning tags. You'll need to fix those. Also its kinda assumed you are going to be editing the file so 'fix' just applies to doing whatever it is you intended on doing to the file in question.
Example thats trivially easy to fix is my WorldsPlus mod. The decompiled WorldSelection class has two calls towards the bottom of the file where it passes 'null' as an argument to one of the methods. There are actually 2 functions with the methodname that is used so the compiler doesnt know which of them you are using. All you need to do in this case is cast the null value to the class that world selection is extended from and presto, the errors are solved.
