posted a message on WebRcon.io - Free Web-based RCON Client
    Hello!

I've been working on something new, and now it's ready! The project in question: WebRcon.io. Yep, it's an RCON Client. More specifically, it's a web based RCON client for server admins to easily remotely manage their server, without having to go on to their game etc. just to kick a player.

    Preview:

I made this out of frustration of the lack of simple easy to use RCON clients - most of them are clunky, outdated, requires dirty installation and last updated in 2008 for Windows only... This version however, is web based. That means it doesn't care which operating system you're on, what version of Windows you have, etc. etc. You don't have to install anything!

    How to use:
    • Enable RCON on your server. You can do this by modifying enable-rcon on server.properties.
    • Edit the RCON password. Make sure it is really strong! I would recommend against your personal password.
    • Visit WebRcon.io when you want to manage your server.
    • Enter your server's details, and use it just like you would a regular console!
    • Donate Bitcoin to the address on the web page :D
Just a little note on the security side, you have to enter your RCON password to be able to use this (obviously). Unfortunately due to javascript (and my JS skills) limitation, the commands, server details and RCON password are relayed through the API server. Rest assured though, all connection to this site is properly secured and we do not keep logs of anything what so ever. All it does is relay the RCON commands because Javascript can't do it by itself. The only things that we "store" are your pageview and events for Google Analytics, and web server logs.

The website displays advertisements to pay for necessary server, domain and certificate fees, but it's not enough so Bitcoin donations are always welcome!

Also, if any of you could cross post this to any game server forum etc. where RCON is used, I would really appreciate it.

    Enjoy!

posted a message on Is it possible to port Plugins from Pocketmine to ModPE Scripts?
    Short answer: No.

Long answer: It would be like trying to translate an alien language to another alien language. Of course if you knew both, you could translate it by hand, essentially re-coding the whole thing. But unfortunately Google Translate can't do it for you.

Get a good coder that knows both to port it over! :D

posted a message on Siri - A informational chat bot that you can talk to, and run commands 1.3.0 BETA

This is the point where I wished Treebl added a generic "chat message sent" event instead of the command process one.
Then I can have conversations, like Hell_Max's Talking Steve program from so long ago:

    You: Do you like cake?
Steve: Yes, but only square cake.
    You: Do you like Minecraft?
    Steve: Yes, I like minecraft.
    You: Do you like bacon?
    Steve: Yes, I like bacon.
    You: Do you like cheese?
    Steve: Yes, I like cheese.
You: Do you think this is a fun application?
Steve: No, I don't think this is a fun application.
You: This app rocks! Are you crazy?
Steve: this app rocks! Yes, I am crazy.
You: What is this... I don't even...
Steve: Let me Google that for you.

Why not just add it yourself?

It runs perfectly fine on the latest PocketMine. Indeed, Shoghicp himself omits the closing ?>:

I believe it's actually a standard to omit the closing ?> if the file only contains PHP scripts.

Has this project been started yet? I really would like to see a web control panel out there sometime. It would be very useful.

Well, actually, yes. I have started on a control panel but I didn't even remember I made this post! The panel is now 30% complete with a daemon / node based system, with basic server power ups and configuration.

posted a message on Introducing MCPECake: MCPE Multiplayer / Servers Android app, with realms like server update!

    Manual version:
    Open this
Open external_servers.txt and copy everything in the download into that file. I'm going to borrow Jocopa's instructions for accessing that file:

If there is no file, add a server entry in MCPE (fake data's fine), then look again and the file should be there.

Do this every time you want an updated list. Only working servers are included in the list.

Congratulations! You just won $500 for cracking my app! :)

Will you come out with one for Jailbroken IOS users? (I know Apple would reject it in the store)

I don't have an iOS device nor any Objective C Skills so... Someone else might do it, but I don't think I can :(

posted a message on Introducing MCPECake: MCPE Multiplayer / Servers Android app, with realms like server update!
    Hi, all!

If you don't already know, I have a server list called MCPECake: MCPE Multiplayer / Servers.

With PocketMine Realms going down, I thought it would be good to have a replacement sorta thing for it, to easily connect to other servers without having to copy down the IPs.

So I came up with this Android app, MCPECake!

Basically, what this app does is, it downloads the server list from the site, and then replaces MCPE's external servers file with the file downloaded!

Try it for yourself, you can't see the player count and server status on the 'Play' page(Mojang Limitation), but hopefully this will help some people who are used to PocketMine Realms.

Note: If you get an error message saying Unable to Connect, that means that the server is full, or offline!

    Download Link

    Have Fun!

This is somewhat related, but providing an online/offline thing for server owners websites would be hugely helpful..

That is automatic, I query the servers to see if they are online or not every certain minutes.
