    When did you start playing Minecraft: Back in Alpha, however, I haven't played nonstop. I played mainly in 1.3.2 and 1.5.2. I have just come back, and I am looking for a server like the ones I played in back then.

    Have you ever been banned: Not that I know of, I might have, but it was probably not for griefing.
    Do you use TeamSpeak: I don't do it much, but I am cabable of doing so if necesary.

    Hey, I love this tool, but there is one thing, is there a way to disable the BetterGrass part?

    See, I chose it at the beggining, but now the texture packs I use don't have support, can you tell me how to disable it?

    I tried setting
    <mod>
    <name>Better Grass</name>
    <enabled>true</enabled>
    <type>builtIn</type>
    </mod>

    to
    <mod>
    <name>Better Grass</name>
    <enabled>false</enabled>
    <type>builtIn</type>
    </mod>

    but it didn't work, any ideas?

    EDIT: patched over it with the wild grass thing out of it, worked perfectly!

    Damnit, this also removed my mods, the reason why I wanted to disable this in the first place, GAH!

    I still can't figure out the basics of this thing.

    If I don't have wire under the spot the block drops, the blocks won't disentegrate.

    If I put wire there, then the circuit is already on before the block drops.

    If I leave a gap, the circuit doesn't complete when the block drops.

    If someone could post a save file, that would be great.

    I was working through BassOfTheSea's Redstone Guide earlier and found that out of everything in that guide (including the T-Flip Flop and the clocks), a monostable circuit was the only thing I couldn't get to work. At the risk of being laughed at for what is probably an idiotic mistake, I'd like to ask: what did I do wrong?

    Also, I'm running 1.8.1. My mods include Risugami's ModLoader, Kahr's HD fix, and simo_415's Single Player Commands.

    This is just fine, there is no reason for this to fail... let me build it meself

    okay, what happened is that the buttoin powered the wire on the left, if you do this It'll work prefctly

    Sounds very easy. Since you're ungodly in redstone, I won't hold back on technical terms.

    For the player selection, use a TFF, in which you use Q and !Q for each player. Hook up 3 RS NOR's, where the first two's Q output is XOR'd with the player selection Q or !Q, afterwards going to a 1 bit DEMUX, so you'll have 2x2 signals, plus the Q of the 3rd RS NOR, so that's 5 signals, 2 for attacking and 3 for defending.
    For the disabling buttons, it's as simple as connecting S to the output of your button input AND the OR signal of all 3 Q's. Of course you should use !Q as it will be slightly faster, due to Demorgan optimization.

    I understand most of this, but you using "'s" where it doesn't belong kind of confuses me, so, just for the future (and I'm not trying to be an asshole) remember that "'s" is used for possession.

    Also, thanks for fixing this problem, though I haven't built this, it make sense in my head, we'll see.

    T Flip Flop to switch between 2 and 3.. shift register or ring counter to count to 2 and another for 3 for each person (could combine to save space, but simplicity of wiring is usually best). Have a pulse limiter on each lever that will send the signal to the shift register counting the number of levers used and once so many is set move a block to prevent any levers from sending a signal. If it's turn based you could make it so when one player finishes his turn it'll reset the other person so they can go. You'd probably want to take that one step further and tie it into an AND gate and have a button on the other player's side so that there is time to reset the levers to off state otherwise it could turn the entire thing into a giant clock.

    That's bout the best I can suggest without knowing what exactly its for.

    *edit* oh small flaw if they flipped a single lever on twice it'd count twice.. so if you don't want that you'll need to do buttons and RS Nor Latch on each button. Then just make it so the other player's turn ending resets the other player. Would also remove any fear of turning the whole thing into a giant clock if a player forgot to turn off the levers so probably the better route to go.

    Could you build this and send it to me?

    I don't really understand what you mean.

    Thanks!

    Is there any way you can build this and share a schematic, or a few screenies? because I really don't understand what you mean by this, because it's just a huge chunk of text.

    Thanks mate!

    Ok, just to be clear:

    Player A and Player B both have 5 levers each.

    Player A must flip exactly 3 levers and Player B must flip exactly 2 levers, and only then will something happen.

    Then you can press a button to make it so that Player A must flip exactly 2 levers and Player B must flip exactly 3 levers before something happens.

    I liked Tommy and Sarah better, besides that... Yeap, that's what has to happen (thanks!)

    You just need some random generators, RS NOR latches and piston AND gates. But I have no idea how to put them together. I'm not that smart. :sad.gif:

    What do you mean "random generators"? Like, random number generators? I'm not getting what you mean right now
