    EDIT: I have tried changing numerous item IDs but I still get the same error message. When I open up the .cfg files in the config folder, they are back to how they were before I edited them, even though I WAS saving them.


    You need to change the lines without any '#' symbols in front of them in the bottom-half of the file.

    Same with the foulite ore as well. It's sort of stupidly rare. One seam of coal can give me about two stacks of torches. The entirety of the foulite ore I found on my giant journey into the depths of the Nether hasn't given me a single stack of torches.

    And last, but certainly not least, nerf the smelting power of glowstone. One glowstone is as powerful as one coal? Wut? I could literally fill a double chest with glowstone in less than an hour, and never ever run out of the ability to smelt ever again.

    Or actually...not last. Lastly...thanks for the awesome mod. XD


    Thanks for the recommendations. I will try and get these fixed next week after I get out of school. It's a little harder to squeeze in time to mod when I have final exams approaching. Sorry for the lack of updates, lately.

    I would fulfill your request; unfortunately, my experience with entities and effects won't suffice for the Thundergun. I might be able to create the Wunderwaffe (translated from German as 'Wonder-weapon'). I'll add that to my modding to-do list, which already has some pretty good ideas (in my opinion). I may release the ideas, but I am uncertain at this time. I'll post it in the news section and the topic subheading if I do, though. Thank you for your support! :biggrin.gif:

    Extremely busy again (sorry... I hang out with friends almost every day). If I get grounded again, I'll definitely go back to modding, though. When the official modding API is completely and/or released I will be sure to convert my source code and update my mods to use the API. If I'm lucky, Jens might let me be a beta tester too! :smile.gif:

    You need to change whichever block is occupying ID number 186. I suggest memorizing that error, since it's one of the most common errors.

    Magma Cubes, Pig Zombies and Ghasts are the only things that spawn in the Nether, and Pig Zombies still spawn
    Dark Wheat needs darkness to grow and stay on tilled netherdirt
    That is a bug... Sorry

    Jeb has stated that he will be working on the Mod API, but that it probably won't be completed until around March. I will definitely use this API, so until then, you'll have to cope with the incompatibilities (pwnedgod has made patches for MCForge - Scottools and MCForge - ItemSpriteAPI; should be posted soon!).

    They don't actually conflict, there are just too many sprites and not enough indices. That's all.
