Aug 20, 2012This mod is amazing for adventure maps it lets me have pokemon trainers and gym leaders because, one- you cant catch them. 2- you can set them up to drop items that you choose. and 3- you can use them to force the player to waste his time by finding a red flower so this guy will be able to give it to his significant other and there for be willing to open up the path out of town.Posted in: Minecraft Mods

Jun 7, 2012hello this is a pokemon custom map that i am building. it is a new region i made up called the koran region and it requires manchou's pokecube mod and noppes npc mod..here are some pics of some stuff that is done. by the way i restarted the map and put more time into make the places larger and better so it's a different map than before but i think it will be better. also because this is done on a flatmap the only naturally spawning pokemon in the entire region is eevee, so i built a portal that leads out to another part of the map to gather pokemon for you. currently until pokemon spawners come in a pokecube update im using noppes npc's as pokemon substitutes. they are very usefull for gym battles. also i am currently hiring on people to help me make the map faster so that i can get updates for it out faster. the current job positions open are texture pack artist because the map needs a texture pack to make it look nice (like bedrock being invisible) skinners (to make pokemon and other poke people related skins to go on the npcs) and builders. just pm me or post on this thread if you want to help. also if you play the map please help me come up with names for some of the places because i am having a hard time coming up with good ones.Posted in: Mapsand here is the download

you could buy a house in towns
guilds for the main class types like magic melee ranged (only one in a town so it would be random which one you find)
creep mage - a class that uses creeper based magic for all your exploding green hissing needs
a faithful pet that you can have follow you around to help or stay at home as gaurd pet (each race would have one thats more common with them might also be able to ride them) example dire wolf, war hoarse, giant tiger, war bear. (dire wolves would make awesome mounts)
inns you can pay to unlock (iron door opens when you pay the price and the only thing that would be in the room would be a bed to pass the night) a room for you to sleep in.

Spider Queen Version 5.4

WHAT IS THIS MOD ABOUT?
Spider Queen reverses the role of the player in Minecraft by placing them in the role of a monster instead of a human. As the Spider Queen, you will be able to see better in the dark, take control of the classic Giant Spider mob as a loyal pet, and even create four new spiders to protect you from danger! With version 4.0, you'll find new mobs such as the water-dwelling octopus, the fearsome Jack the Pumpkin-Head, and even a rival queen.
Use webbing to climb walls, catch monsters and animals, and even create a webslinger to swing from the walls and ceilings! Use the Spider Bait to command your army and move them from place to place. Find enormous bee-hives and break them open for some honey, but watch out for angry bees!
Explore the darkness to your heart's content. Make friends with the skeletons, creepers, and zombies by giving them hearts, skulls, and brains. Befriend the creatures of the night! Snack on juicy flies by picking them right out of the air, but be on the lookout for angry hornets. Battle roving bands of humans, or be friends with them. Create an army and a family! Be a monster today.
changes for v5.3
Fixed these bugs:
-Spider Bait, when held, causes spiders to become nervous and freeze up while watching you.
-Tweak bee-hive generation
-Investigate bees not becoming hostile when breaking their hive or attacking other bees. Breaking a hive produces non-hostile warriors and queens.
-Stingers, when placed on the ground, properly display in the center of the block. However, the actual block that carries the hit detection is off to the side, not in the center, and doesn’t take up the entire block. This causes them to not function properly. (making the hit-box block flat and take up the entire bottom of the block, like the skull/brain blocks would work)
-Fix spider beds causing a state where touching any blocks causes you to pass through them and suffocate. If necessary, have the web bed function exactly as a normal bed.
-Fix monsters not taking skulls,brains,hearts
-Fix spiders not having the correct body type
-Increase the spawn rates of non-vanilla mobs (currently too rare)
-Decrease spawn rate of Octopi (currently spawn very often and in large groups)
-Include sound files in new release
-Add EXP orb drop tables to all new mobs (all same exp drop as skeletons)(enemy mandragora, giant beetle, wasp, bee types, yuki onna)
-Sounds: remove all Yuki Onna sounds, except for the hurt sound and die sound, which should be set to “FManhurt.wav” and “FMandie.wav” Set all Giant Beetle sounds to the corresponding Giant Ant sounds (beetles should sound exactly like ants)
-add drop tables to certain mobs: Octopi; ink sacs. Giant Beetles, ants; Apple. Yuki Onna; 10 ice blocks. Wasp;stinger
-Fix poison spider’s “invisible model” glitch. The model used to render damage (the model that turns red upon hit) does not match the poison spider’s model. This causes the invisible halo.
-There is an unused recipe “create mossy cobblestone” with a stick surrounded by webbing. Instead of a stick, use COBBLESTONE.
-Breaking a bed gives web bed blocks instead of webbing, which can’t be used.
-Investigate bug where players can’t climb vines. When vines are against a block, they are meant to act as a ladder. Ladders still work fine... may simply ignore this one.
-Player is given an enemy skeleton instead of a friendly human when their reputation with humans is high enough.
-Yuki Onna animation bug: “hairbun” needs to follow movements of head.
-attacking humans doesn’t draw aggro only now it does
