When in the market to buy or build a new computer, PassMark is your friend.
The two most important things you should look up are the CPU and the graphics card. If you don't see both of them on the high end list, don't pay more than $200 for it, and don't expect it to run anything other than Facebook exceptionally well.
This is an anarchy server. That means there are "no rules." What it actually means is that players must fend for themselves in true survival fashion. There are obviously some unspoken rules, but my goal is to get the server to the point where players aren't able to break those rules to begin with. For example, this being a pvp server, one can expect spawn campers. The measures I have put in place to prevent such nonsense includes disabling combat within the spawn area, and providing a random teleport with which to leave the spawn area. However, it is still possible that a particularly vindictive player might find another player's bed and camp them there. That's obviously no fun, so one of your jobs, if you are chosen to be a staff member, would include intervening in such a situation, if it appears to be getting out of hand.
Some more of your potential duties:
Teleporting friends to each other, after receiving confirmation from both players, or developing a vanilla solution to allow players to teleport themselves to each other.
Banning players who attempt to disrupt other players' ability to play (trying to cause server lag, DDoSing, etc).
Fixing vulnerabilities. For example, if a player finds a way to bypass spawn protection, you would help me research how they did so, and help me develop a solution to the problem.
Adding, or helping me add new features to the server. This will be an as requested thing, so, for example, if a bunch of players want a Hunger Games arena, we would make one.
If you are interested, and believe yourself to be qualified, first check out the server, get to know some of the players, and then send me a private message. Include in your message any questions you may have, observations you made and suggestions you have. Also, ignore the OP application that is advertised on the server. That is merely a deterrent for the trolls who want OP so that they can break stuff.
Edit: forgot to add the server address, silly me.

Temp agencies. They'll put you in a factory, fast food or a retail store, and you'll hate it and it will be degrading, grueling work that doesn't pay enough to live off of, but that's the best you're gonna get if you're totally unwilling to be proactive and confident.
Also, I am not suggesting this because I think it is a good idea, I'm suggesting this because my thread about racism was deleted, so if this is not what the rules intend, disregard this suggestion.
Nowhere, in any of those definitions does it mention anything about any social topics, such as racism. If you do in fact want to ban social topics, please update the rules to reflect that. Also, you cannot claim that it falls under the catchall either, as the topic of racism is neither controversial, nor is it mature. It is nearly unanimous that it is bad, but a minority of people are still racist, so the problem persists. Also, it is taught to children in public schools. If you want a more all encompassing umbrella term to capture the spirit of this rule, I would suggest using the term sensitive topics instead.
If you're looking for minigames, you'd be better off searching for the specific minigame you want to play, to try to find a server that is well known for doing that specific minigame well. The big servers that top the votifier list sites are jacks of all trades (and masters of none). If you're not looking for minigames, then just find any small server like Badprenup said. And by small, I mean not a votifier list site topper. Small servers can actually seem like they have more players, because they're all in the same world. Also, a large percentage of the population on the big servers aren't even players, but that's another topic...
Sounds like you're looking for a factions server. You're in luck- it's a fairly common type of server, and they tend to be pretty decent quality. Just look for the factions tag, or filter by factions type if you're on a list site.

Well you clearly didn't read my post, then, because the reason I linked it there was to show how long I've been on the server...

Also, don't buy from a store. Buy from Newegg.

When you mix sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) and acetic acid (vinegar) it creates a little bit of sodium acetate, which is a type of salt.
"It is often used to give potato chips a salt and vinegar flavor."

Since this thread appears to have been moved, I will clarify that this is where you can find the rule in question.
