About the storyline, there WILL be an actual one, not a "tutorial" quest, at that.
Talking about quest, there'll be random quests that you can get from random villages / encounters. I can expect them to be highly moddable, too.
About modability, this is a huge difference in comparison to Terraria, or even Minecraft. Starbound actually has an active modding support from the devs, and pretty much everything can be modded in or out, which is amazing.

Dec 8, 2013It IS worth the 15$, buuuuut... the game is currently in it's first stage of beta, and it's currently largely unfinished. That's said, it's still very fun, but you must not grow attached to your characters / planets.Posted in: General Gaming
Read this for a bit more verbose explanation of how things are right now :

Don't go overboard.
Have you tried to make a calculator? It's not really imaginative, but that's still a pretty good exercise for beginners.
Aside of that, you could try to re-create an application you saw, especially simple ones.
Doesn't have to make unique and useful stuff while exercising.
Nov 27, 2013I got a nagging suspicion that this snippet of code was supposed to be within the constructor of CircleFrame. Although i have no idea where output1 and output2 comes from.Posted in: Hardware & Software Support
As for the random closing bracket (at the end of the snippet of code i mentioned), i think it can safely be erased.
Nov 27, 2013The whole of this part :Posted in: Hardware & Software Support
JMenu output = newJMenu("Output"); JMenuItem out1 = new JMenuItem(output1 + " is the radius"); JMenuItem out2 = new JMenuItem(output2 + " is the circumference"); output.add(out1); output.add(out2); }
Is invalid, as it is outside of any method or contructor.

Is by far one of the best ACII Arts on YT
Yes, but after the hundredth, you have the irresistible urge to punch those who spam it.
As for me, i don't care much at all about Google+, but the current YT comment system feels like a step backward. I preferred to have two 'top-liked' comment, with the rest being sorted by 'most recents first'.
That, and we can't easily see the threads, it just say 'in reply to spacegoku420' with a link that bring you nowhere.
Oh and you can't really click on those links that bring you to a specific time in the video, as it refresh the whole page instead.

No, deleting the shortcut on your desktop doesn't uninstall the game.

My parents were really slow to upgrade to Windows XP. We had our 95 computer for way to long, like 9 years or something.
My parents had a Windows XP equiped computer since 2001, and they only replaced it with Win7 earlier this year, only because the comp (understandably) died on them.
