I can't run 256, and 256 looks like **** in minecraft. 64x64 honestly, is a perfect medium, there really isnt a huge difference from 64 to 128 but a nice upgrade from 32x32.. Its your choice, the pack looked good but i clearly wont be able to use it..
I'd like to use, i've been wanting snow back for months now, but i must use the optimine otherwise my fps goes from like 20-100 constantly its super annoying :sad.gif:.
Eh, I was off a few years in my memory of when the Pentium 4 came out and they can run minecraft. What frame rates do you get with settings and what graphics card do you have.
:tongue.gif:, a 9500gt 1gb version, and i get around 60fps on fast, normal.
There pretty much is. Minecraft runs fine on a CPU thats better than a low end pentium 4 from like.. 2002. If you're having problems, you need to fix something, not get a better cpu.
I doubt minecraft could run on a 2002 era Pentium 4, though I do think johadalin's problem is his gpu/the horrible opengl code in minecraft. I would need to know the exact model of the CPU to tell but he should be able to get around 40-50 on normal, fast, and the original lighting in SSP at least.
Most efficient is a water placed under the farm (or every 4th, I forget if under the farm works), and the entire rest of the farm being wheat. Sneak/crouch to move around and not trample crops.
I don't.. Water won't go vertically through a block unless it has a hole to go through if I'm not mistaken..
Open terrain.png in an editing program that supports transparency (not Paint) and replace the right hand leaf texture with the one on the left. Now when you change to fast graphics the leaves won't change.
God, why don't people just research before asking questions...
The above solution will help you.
ummm you do realize that two texture pack artists are asking for this? If it was that simple don't you think we would have done it already.... seriously don't bring misinformation to the thread, and then be smug about it.
Fancy also changes the water rendering, among other things.
Transparency in the game are tied to the code which is why windows in the game have always sucked. And don't tell me better glass fixes it because again it doesn't, by adding translucency to the glass it makes clouds invisible through them which is a deal breaker, much like seeing through the ground with using leaf transparency on Fast mode is also a dealbreaker. The game uses backface culling on the solid blocks so if they're not defined right in the code you get graphic errors with transparencies.
This game has pretty severe issues with transparency and these are tied to the code, which is why you can see stars through the clouds, changing the cloud texture transparency does nothing for this. Punch a tree leaf while looking strait through it on fancy and the clouds disappear as well, these are huge glaring issues.
And before you flame for this being in the wrong forum, the mod request sub-forum was added the day after I posted this, so stop being a *****, and grow up.
