How do you un blacklist items. I want players to be able to place lava and water in skyblock.
Super Necro! Awesome grave digging powers!
Okay, I assume you have essentials and that it's the plugin that's blacklisting the item. Go to the Essentials folder and edit the config.yml there. Go down until you see the blacklist blocks thing, and delete the entries of things that you don't want blacklisted. If you're using another plugin, post it.
Although you would need to be able to use a Linux CLI very well. http://www.linuxfu.org/ might be able to help you learn how to use linux the "right" way.
UGVPS has comparatively great support, and ChicagoVPS has a history of account information being leaked. I'd recommend paying 10 more bucks and getting UGVPS.
Btw, a month ago, I didn't even know how to change directories. Now I'm contemplating changing my main OS over to Fedora. It's not that hard to learn how to use bash.
Lol I dont have all that stuff, Here in America you're required to give your SSN so they can verify your age
I'm pretty sure you have Prepaid credit cards and Moneybookers and stuff. I go down there to buy stuff at black friday, so I think I know. Btw, your stuff is so much cheaper, but there's also so much more ppl with uhh... larger body proportions.
Bank accounts usually require a small amount($50) of money to be in your account as soon as you open it.
PayPal and a prepaid credit card. I live in Canada and I can find that at the local Metro or Shoppers Drug Mart.
Just lie about your age and hook up the CC. It's not like Minecraft Realms is free anyways, so I don't understand your point.
I also don't think that a consistent income is required to gather $40 a YEAR.
Also, at President's Choice Financial, the minimum deposit is $10. Just sayin'.
Oh, just those stuff? I already have RemoteToolkit for that and cron jobs for backups.
And I trust my mod enough to give him root so that he can restart the server if I'm not there. (Which is rare because I have ConnectBot on my phone.) (My mod is also my childhood friend that I've known for 10+ years.)
And I very much dislike world downloaders. People can use the world downloaders to steal spawns, and they just recently hid the seed because people were using it to bypass x-ray and to find strongholds and stuff in single player. (Then go online and use the information they gathered.)
Honestly if I had the income I'd open my own Vanilla server or RPG Vanilla
And you expect Realms to be cheap!?
A 2gb VPS would cost $40 per year. I'm sure you can scrounge that up somewhere. Might take searching of many people's couches, but you'll get there. XD
You mean a .bat file? Or a gui (i use bukkit ui) as its easier for me (and the bukkit ui only uses 48mb or less ram).
No no no. I meant a booter. Booters are like high powered servers or people who have access to many open resolvers. These companies allow you to enter an ip-address or domain name to stress test their network. They bombard your connection like a DDoS, but it's not a DDoS, because you're targeting yourself. Or you're supposed to target yourself anyways.
Generally they give you advanced management tools in a single location (usually web-based). They can save you a lot of time if you aren't familiar with using raw commands or creating scripts
May I have an example of a complex script/command that a web panel greatly simplifies? (I'm just wondering if I should plop down 15 bucks for McMyAdmin)
Yes, but what difference is there between a regular gamehost like ProvisionHost or Beastnode and Realms? I'm thinking that third-party hosters will still have the cheaper prices. Also, barely anyone plays vanilla nowadays.
How much support do you like? (On a scale of 1-10.)
EDIT: I HIGHLY recommend Provision Host down there. They have the BEST support I've ever seen. They use top-notch hardware, AND, they are CANADIAN!
Sorry, some national pride there.
May I ask what the purpose of a Minecraft Panel is. What I mean is things like McMyAdmin or Multicraft. What can the panel do to help me? (I host a server on a general purpose VPS)
If you just want to skyblock with him, why not just both join a skyblock server like mcskyblock and build on the same island? Just play on the same server, much easier than hosting your own.

On LowEndBox of course! I recommend UGVPS http://www.lowendbox...go-los-angeles/
But ChicagoVPS is a little cheaper. http://www.lowendbox...hicago-buffalo/

Which permissions plugin are you using?
Do any errors pop up in console?
