Hey guys, as the title says, I'm making a game, and looking for someone to do some textures. If you only want to do one texture, feel free to do that too, but you can do as many as you want. The more the better!
For each character, I need the following (in res of [40 x 60] or [60 x 80]):
-Left facing walk/attack-ready stance [I can flip it]
-Fall [Will also be used for jumping]
-Hurt [No direction needed, i.e make it straight on]
These are the characters I need:
DO NOT INCLUDE WEAPONS
-Ent (Note: I don't want armour on this guy, just a big ol' Treebeard lookin' badass)
-Mage (Note: I would like a robe on this guy)
-Knight (Note: Will be used for a Paladin/Crusader character)
-Monk (Note: Human please, light armour)
-Engineer (Note: Maybe a utility belt? I don't know)
-Blacksmith (Note: Nothing special)
-Witchborn (Note: Purple/dark red colour scheme, mix of light/heavy armour)
If you want, I can give you credit on the game lobby screen in the way of your name, or IGN.
I can't guarantee I'll use your texture if I don't like it, because I want this to look good, but I'm not too fussy .I'll also give you early access to the game if I choose your texture, and you want the early access.
Please email textures to: [email protected], or link them here if you can't.
I'm porting my 1.3.2 mod to the latest version of Minecraft, also going from ModLoader to Minecraft Forge. I fixed my few hundred errors, but now, obviously, my item textures aren't working. Is there any way to set a specific texture for an item without having to make another file? I made a class that just extends Item, and I had the texture be set to "%MyMod'sName%" + getUnlocalizedName(), so that it would just pick up the name and do the texture automatically, but it hasn't seemed to work. Any help would be appreciated.
Please let me know if you find any bugs, or have any suggestions.
Difficulties:
Schnitzel: Take less damage, keep items. Recommended for 1-2 noobs.
Man: mobs do average damage, lose items. Recommended for 1+ players.
Serious Sam: mobs do high damage, lose items. Recommended for 2+ pros.
Synoptic Overview: In this map you can battle monsters with turrets or handweapons, as you prepare for the more difficult Nether Rounds, and Explosive Boss Rounds. There is also a scoring system that uses sponges. The map includes three custom difficulties affecting things like monster strength, whether or not you keep your items. The currency for this map is XP. You can take the portal to the village and buy items with your money (XP) there, but you only have a limited time - you'll be teleported back to the battlefield after about forty seconds or less in the village. There is also a farm, an enchanting room, a forge, a brewery, and more in the village.
This map utilizes command blocks, and uses no mods. It's completely handmade and composed of 100% my ideas. There's not TOO much redstone, and it's pretty nooby either way, because I'm not fantastic with it.
You'll encounter every kind of monster while trying to hold your point, and probably diea lot.
There are loads of Easter Eggs in the map, including a trap-filled tomb containing some extremely helpful items, including a pumpkin that allows you to animate the iron golem frames that you see around the battlefield.
Hey ruben, I don't know why, but I love this mod! It is hilarious to look at and the way the items splurge out of the mobs upon death is always funny to witness. I made a mod review video which I hope you don't mind me embedding below which shows off V2 of the mod including all the new birds :]

Thanks for making such an entertaining mod and I hope you enjoy my video,
Dan

Cheers, dan! When I get home I'll put that right on the OP!
Maybe you should add spawn eggs, but... AMAZINGNESS! SCBNOAIEVBIEGHBOUIEGBIUO! Oh, wait... In the near or distant furture, could you make this an SMP mod? That would make my month, having it on one of my favorite servers.

I've never tried doing that before, but I'll give it a go! I've never made someone's month before XD.
Anyway, I can't rpomise anything, but I will surely look into it within the next few days.
Loaded up fine for me with Forge #378. Haven't yet sighted any, but heard what I can only assume to be Steve vs. water explosions here and there. Will continue the search after work =)
Thanks man! Appreciate it! Will add that into the OP and credit you.

I'm pretty sure I removed that, actually. I better mention that.

Cheers bud.

Thanks I guess, but why'd you post that? XD

No, it doesn't. The bird mobs are new mobs altogether.
Yes, that's the easiest way to kill them.
There's a command for spawning them now. You don't need spawn eggs!
