Another option would be a slider just like the render distance.

posted a message on Disable suspend option

In the Java Edition of the game, you can minimize the application or go to another virtual desktop without the app getting suspended.
However, in the Bedrock Edition, there's the problem that the UWP gets suspended. The problem is that you will get kicked from servers after a very short amount of time.

My idea is that you have the setting "Suspend after" with a dropdown menu:
    - no delay
    - 5 seconds

    - 10 minutes

    - never

    - custom amount of seconds

Another option would be to set it to seconds/ticks (unsigned short):
    0 - 65535 s (= ~18.2 days)
    0 - 65535 ticks (= ~21.8 hours)

I think this would be a great update and I would appreciate it!

    Greetings, RD4.

I think the dropdown menu is the best.

posted a message on Pretend Minecraft from going into

I have got 2 screens and I am using multiple virtual desktops.
On my first virtual screen, there is Minecraft and Discord.
On my second virtual screen, there is Spotify and G HUB (My Mouse software).

When I want to switch profiles with my G HUB software, I have to go to another desktop.
But if I do this, Minecraft Bedrock goes into standby mode.
This means if I am playing on a server, Minecraft pauses as long as I am on a different desktop. (This also occurs if Minecraft is minimized)
If this endures too long, I get kicked from the server.

You can see the difference in the task manager: There is a leaf behind Minecraft. This means that it's in standby mode.

Is this a settings-problem of Minecraft or Windows?
I reviewed the options.txt but I can't find anything there.
Can I open Minecraft with the command prompt so it won't go into standby?

I hope someone can help me.

    Greetings, RD4.

WIN + TAB => virtual desktop menu (there you can add, remove, switch desktops and move applications)

    WIN + CONTROL + D => make new desktop

WIN + CONTROL + F4 => delete current desktop (applications aren't killed, they are just moved to another desktop)

WIN + CONTROL + LEFT/RIGHT ARROW => switch between desktops
