You don't need paper for a compass, you need paper for a map. Minecraft basics. For a compass
you need 4 gold and a redstone dust, in a crafting table put the gold in a "circle" with the redstone in the middle. Ta-dah! :biggrin.gif:

And also "AN EASY SEED TO REMEMBER FOR SEED" doesn't make a whole lot of sense.
