I've been trying to use NEI with minecraft version 1.6.4 but it seems to be stuck in recipe mode. In the options it is changed to cheat mode, but it does nothing. When I click on the blocks to the right side it just brings up their recipes and it doesn't show the delete, weather or time buttons in the corner either. There is no setting in the config saying to lock it in recipe mode, and the mode can actually be switched to cheat mode, but it doesn't seem to actually do anything.
Edit: NVM, something someone mentioned earlier made me think of something and got it working.
A suggestion for future updates (if it isnt already there, i havent seen it but doesnt mean i havent missed it) would be to add a way to repeat commands easily. I dont mean just repeat the last command entered either.
Ok say for example i want to change a huge area into one type of block, like stone for example. Well if you try and select too big an area the game tends to crash, so you would usually split it up into smaller parts to change that way. Ok now if i wanted to make a 200x1000x10 area into stone and could only change 100x100x10 at a time, then i would have to repeat the commands 20 times each. Like clicking a block, typing in Expand 99 East, Expand 99 South, Expand 9 down. Then Set 1. Then Shift 100 East. And repeating it again. What i am suggesting (and again if it's already there please let me know) is that you can type something like //Program Start (Program Name) then the commands you want to run, the number of times you want it done, and followed by //Program End. So then when you want to run it you type //Run (Program Name) and it runs through the commands you typed in as many times as you had set. That way if you wanted to repeat the same process in another area you could just click the start block and type //Run (Program Name) again and it would do the same thing there.
I recently had a problem with my hard drive and ended up losing it, so i had to switch to one of my other hard drives. Because i lost my minecraft folder i reinstalled it and got a few new mods for it. However since then i can only play it for a few minutes at a time before the game starts lagging badly, so much that i cant even move. This never happened before when i was playing the 1.1version of minecraft, but so much has changed since my hard drive died that i dont know what could be causing it. Anyone know what could be causing this and ways to fix it? Oh and just a note, but my CPU and RAM arent getting close to 100% either so i doubt thats whats causing it to lag.
OMG OMG you mean a mod isnt updated within the 1st hour of the game being updated? Thats just not possible, mod makers should be sitting in front of their computers 24/7 without sleeping and without having any lives, doing nothing but waiting for the game to be updated so they can update their mods immeadiately. Damn lazy mod makers, someone should get the whip out and get them working...
(PS: Sarcasm, not actually meaning they should be doing that. ^.^)
