While Erik was laying on the floor in a pile of his own blood, he felt somthing inside him, it felt like some kind of supernova inside him and whe he managed to get on his feet agen he had two viking axes made out of fire in his hands (viking axe: see the pick)

The investigations followed shortly after, and it didn't take long before scientists realised that there had to be something strange about her. No ordinary person would be able to do what she did. She had to be special. Scientist wanted to run tests on her and such, but she said no. Yet, she was an important piece of sience, probably worth bilions of yen. She was forced to inprisoning, and the scientist started to run experiments on her body while she was still alive. Her sanity was slowly flying away, before it finally went to sleep. She got control over the power and ended up slaying the scientists one by one with the strong light. Armed units arrived and managed to trap her and forced her palms to face her body so she couldn't fire at them. She was sent to the newly built prison as one of the first prisoners. The group of prisoners there formed an alliance with each other about one day, ruling the whole prison. After that, the group of people, later called the Game Masters, started to develop a contained society inside the prison behind the backs of the guards.

Just any regular day, you go to your regular school or job and do regular stuff. You had no idea where you was about to go. Without warning, you was knocked out, and the next thing you knew: Stuck on an island in the middle of the sea in a prison you don’t even know why you’re at! The prison is gigantic, hundreds of kilometers in all directions. Several cafeterias, sleeping-quarters and arenas. Yes, you heard me right. Arenas. The staff on the island can only go home every 6th month, so they are free to do more or less as they do. Anyways, no-one even bothers to tell you why you’re there. You still got all your regular clothes and such, but anything that could be considered as dangerous was confiscated. Anyways, this is no regular prison. And you’re here for a reson as well, you just don’t know it yet.
After a while sitting in your cell doing nothing, an about 40 year old man walks over to your cell. “Hey! Fresh meat!” he say to you rather loudly. You look up at him. “Welcome to hell” he say, smiling. “Let me show you around” He reach out his hand, and you take it. He starts to show you around. “This is no regular prison. You might feel like you’ve been imprisoned without reson, but that’s not it. You’re ‘strange’, like everyone else. We all got something to keep us here. We are all freaks!” He laugh. He holds up his hand, and it starts to glow in a bright red color. Then it ignites. “Cya around kid” he say smiling as he walks away.
Sanity control
A lot of the RP centers around your character’s own sanity. Sanity is set up in 6 levels where 1 is the lowest and 6 is the highest. In other words: 6 = Insane, 1 = Entirely sane. The prisoners use this as a guiding-line for a person's power level.
Arena Fights
The prison is boring, with few things to do. The guards just have to sit around doing nothing. Right? Nope. They hold games every once in a while. The games is like an arena-fight. The arenas can either be entirely plain, or they can be well decorated. And when I say well decorated, I mean really, really decorated. It can even be a small town inside an arena, all though these ain’t used much because of the usually massive damages left on the arenas after a fight. I mean, if someone shoots a wave of fire, it would burn down all the building. But, there’s a lot of different arenas around the prison.
-Legal match: A ‘legal match’ is one of the games put up by the employees at the prison. The rewards would be things like meal-tickets or some money, maybe some clothes or a small non-comunicative electronic device as well? Nobody dies.
-Illegal match: A ‘illegal match’ is a arena-fight secretly held by the prisoners. There would be an entrance-fee, but the rewards are usually a lot better. In illegal matches, there’s no rules. Anything is allowed, and there would be no-one to stop it from happening. However, it’s strict before you enter so you can’t bring any weapons with you. These usually don’t end before there’s only one prisoner left alive. The rewards are usually meal tickets, clothes, sometimes electronics or weapons. This would usually be either a home-made knife or one of the guards one’s. Sometimes there’d might even be pistol-bullets or clips, but getting a gun would be really hard.
Powers-system
There needs to be a system to use your powers of course. Your powers can be anything, yet I will control how OP it is. If I think it’s too OP, then change it without starting a fight with me. You know you’re going to lose.
When you arrive at the prison, you got your main ability of course. This one power will be your most powerful one, but there will be ways to obtain more than one power later on in the RP. You can only start with one power whatsoever.
Your level starts out at level one. It’s called Novice, or sometimes Sane. You can use your powers if triggered by strong emotions, but not freely like anyone who had actually mastered their ability could.
Your second level doesn’t have a proper name as it’s hard to split from level 3, only a few people can. The people usually identifying it is called game masters, and it’s usually them that hold the illegal games as well. You still won’t be able to master your powers freely, but they can be triggered easier, and they grow more powerful.
Third level, or intermediate or normal, is the most common. You don’t got entirely free control, but you can probably activate it just by thinking back on a moment you had strong emotions, for an example fear while you was in pain or love when you got your first kiss. People don’t fear you, but you aren’t a person you steal from or push around either.
Fourth level is the usual game-master level. Either this or five. You have mastered to use your powers without emotional triggers, all though their strength is down at level 2 power if they aren’t triggered by emotions. If they are triggered by emotions, they are stronger than level 3.
Fifth level is an unnaturally high level. Hardly anyone proceed all the way up to this level exept for game-masters and a few brave souls. The people on this level are said to be at the sanity-level insane. They can use their powers freely, but are still stronger with emotional triggers.
Sixth level. The most intense flow of power you’d ever feel. This power-level is called Sleeping Sanity because your sanity is litteraly gone. You can seem calm and collected on the outside, but your mind would most likely be twisted by your insane power. You can use all your power, full strength without any emotional triggers. Other inmates fear them, and they don’t usually live for too long. But, they wouldn’t just die without a fight. There has never been one person with Sleeping Sanity that has left the world without bringing anyone with him.
Perks
This RP got a perk system. How it works is really simple. If you choose one positive, you have to choose one negative. You can have max. 2 positive and unlimited negative.
Positive perks
Swordman – Better with blades as weapons. Makes you unable to pick the ‘Gunslinger’ perk.
Gunslinger – Better with guns. Makes you unable to pick the “Swordman” perk.
Painkiller – Makes you better at handling pain, but painkilling medicine wouldn’t work.
Agile – More agile, allows you to maneuver a lot easier. Makes you unable to pick the negative perk “Chubby”
Lightweight – Let’s you jump higher and run faster. Makes you unable to pick “Chubby” and “Strongman”
Strongman – Let’s you lift more stuff easier. Can’t be used with “Weakling”
Negative perks
Blade? – No idea how to handle a blade properly. Can be used with “Gunslinger” but not “Swordman”

Appearance: A freckled boy with neat light brown hair and jade green eyes. Ted has fair skin but gets tanned in the summer. He is skinny and has a lithe figure, he is also a little tall for his age. His normal attire consists of light greens, shades of grey, and occasionally blue jeans.
Personality: Ted is a bit of an awkward preteen but is enthusiastic and optimistic for the most part. He can get a little overemotional during conflict and may be rather reckless. He is generous and kind but can hold grudges for a long time. He can be a little too honest and accidentally hurt someone's feelings as well but always makes it up to that person if he manages to realizes he's being hurtful.
Bio: Ted never knew his parents because his father left before he was born and his mother died during childbirth because of rare complications. He was sent to live with an uncle who wasn't neglectful but also never really tried to get close to Ted during his childhood. This was lucky for Theodore because since they lacked emotional attachment he wasn't too traumatized when the news came that he died in a car crash going to the store. Seeing that his grandparents had died a few years ago, Ted had no more close relatives and was sent to the orphanage.

ou probably allready know that this is just another boring Interest Check, so let me get straight to the point.
Of some strange reson, a few selected people started to develop strange powers. It could be anything from magic to more casual stuff, but the government decided to lock all of theese people into a single high-security prison. The location is unknown, but it's said it's in the middle of the bermuda triangle. It's imposible to escape from, but it got insane amounts of recourses and modern technology. Anywats, thats not what this RP is about.... Well, kind of.
You are one of the many prisoners of the prison. You got some sort of a power, but if you can use it or not is not up to you. It's controled by sanity. Your sanity. Scientist don't know this, but people's powers can only be used if the owner's sanity is at the right level. Let me explain.
A person can have 6 grades of sanity. 1 is sane, while 6 is insane. Powers gets triggered at a certain point between 1 and 6. The lower number you got, the earlier on can you use your powers, but they get less powerful. The higher number you got, the more insane you have to be to trigger your powers, but they get a lot more powerful. (This might be changed later on if I find a better system.
Within this high-security prison, the prisoners are allowed to do whatever they want really, but every once in a while, a game is settled. The game is like a arena-fight. By using the prison's advanced technology, some prisoners has managed to gain acess to a large area which is used for theese games. In the games, prisoners fight each other for things like meal-tickets, furniture, drugs or even weapons.
"math, fysic, arcitecture those kind of things" I say and smile "I'm planning to be an engineer" I start washing an souce pan " hmm. art you say...who's yout favourite painter?" I ask

"So you wishto be an engeneer. It's really good payment for that right now... Do you want the job for the payment or for the job itself?"
Azel shrugs. "I don't know... I kind of want to get through, but at the same time it doesn't really matter that much to me if I make it. Worse comes to worse I go home and work an honest living." Azel shrugs and finishes his drink before returning to get another from the fridge, this is just a water though.

"Just letting you know, I got the disks for all of KEY's series, so just tell me if there's any of them you'd like to watch." I take another sip. You can come if you wish." I stand up and walk over to my jacket. I pull it on and look at Azel for his decition.
"Yeah, I have read a few..." Azel thinks for a few seconds before answering. "Umm... I real the entire Sword Art Online parts and I am working on the Alfheim Online one." He sighs and turns back to the tv. "I don't really know whether or not I am ready for this whole college thing."

ou probably allready know that this is just another boring Interest Check, so let me get straight to the point.
Of some strange reson, a few selected people started to develop strange powers. It could be anything from magic to more casual stuff, but the government decided to lock all of theese people into a single high-security prison. The location is unknown, but it's said it's in the middle of the bermuda triangle. It's imposible to escape from, but it got insane amounts of recourses and modern technology. Anywats, thats not what this RP is about.... Well, kind of.
You are one of the many prisoners of the prison. You got some sort of a power, but if you can use it or not is not up to you. It's controled by sanity. Your sanity. Scientist don't know this, but people's powers can only be used if the owner's sanity is at the right level. Let me explain.
A person can have 6 grades of sanity. 1 is sane, while 6 is insane. Powers gets triggered at a certain point between 1 and 6. The lower number you got, the earlier on can you use your powers, but they get less powerful. The higher number you got, the more insane you have to be to trigger your powers, but they get a lot more powerful. (This might be changed later on if I find a better system.
Within this high-security prison, the prisoners are allowed to do whatever they want really, but every once in a while, a game is settled. The game is like a arena-fight. By using the prison's advanced technology, some prisoners has managed to gain acess to a large area which is used for theese games. In the games, prisoners fight each other for things like meal-tickets, furniture, drugs or even weapons.

"Just letting you know, I got the disks for all of KEY's series, so just tell me if there's any of them you'd like to watch." I take another sip. "Anyways, I got to go pick up a package at the mail-office. It's a gift from my parents that I couldn't bring one the plane. They said it'd get confiscated. Anyways, I'm going now. You can come if you wish." I stand up and walk over to my jacket. I pull it on and look at Azel for his decition.
