Really, I hope Jeb/Dinner reads this.
They have planned SO MANY cool features, like Red Dragon, Pandas, but when will we get them?
We willn't.
Their only focusing on some FLOWERS, instead of FINALLY making the MOBS. Minecraft is SO empty, NO nature animals, except bats. With nature I mean ambience and all that. Their just planning to add sunflowers. Nice thing, ok.... BUT THEY FACE EAST! The point? There isn't. Just click F3, Ta-da, it'll show wheres east, north and all that. Seriously, do we need this? No. Do we need falling particles? NO. Do we need more blocks and tons of mobs? YES Minecraft is SO BORIN that I don't even play it now. And their doing the work SO SLOW! Animations, all just so bad. Minecraft modders, make GIANT THINGS in 48 hours, what do Jeb and Mojang do in 2 months?
Add sunflowers.
Really?
Or the 1.6.2 update.
Few things, such as horses. So Mojang means that EVERY mob their going to add, will have it's own update! If their going to add a WORM mob, a tiny pixel, and coded in 2 minutes or 1, or even 30 seconds, they do a whole update for it.
Dear Jeb/Mojang, please, read this post, and start TRYING to make the game, instead of just playing it. I have seen their office videos, what does Jeb do? He isn't even on his table/computer. HE'S PLAYING PINBALL! START MAKING THE GAME, SO PEOPLE WOULD LIKE IT, INSTEAD OF DESTROYING THE GAME EVERY DAY!
Oh, and PS...
NOT a surprise, that Minecraft sale has slowed down. People wont buy it anymore, because it's ruined. When Minecraft first appeared, it got like 10 million sales, in a short time. Now, about a year have been, and we have now 11,5 million sales. Why? You know why.
Or X360 version. Why it got 4 million sales in a month, and then it stopped? Because that they noticed 4J is WAY too lazy to update it, and published it as a BETA, instead of the FULL version, and 1 update takes about 4 months.
Seriously, Mojang, 4J, man up and start the work.
Or I'm quitting Minecraft...
Why they are mad?
Because their adding SUNFLOWERS???? Instead of those majestic dragons and flying creatures flying around. People want Minecraft to be mystic, and cool, what we got?
Boring, ugly game.
I will now deconstruct your post:
"They have planned so many cool features like Red Dragon, Panda..."
May I remind you that the Red Dragon was just an idea, never meant to be put in. And I personally have never heard a Panda was being put in. Do you know how long it takes to code a single mob? You try it, it won't be fun.
"Their only focusing on some FLOWERS, instead of FINALLY making the MOBS"
Almost all updates before this all the way to 1.0 contained a new mob. 1.6 containd horses for crying out loud! And the flowers? They will be an easier way to make dye probably. Which pertains to mobs. Specifically sheep.
"Minecraft is SO BORIN that I don't even play it now. And their doing the work SO SLOW!"
If you think Minecraft is boring, think again. I've been playing for 3 years and have yet to be bored, especially with new content added often. If you think it's boring, try some mods until the next update. As for you thinking they are being slow, I would like you to try and code a game. It dosn't help that half the community is rushing them. From what i've heard, there will be 2 times the amount of biomes currently, how long do you think it takes to code that?
"Minecraft modders, make GIANT THINGS in 48 hours"
May I remind you that Minecraft modders are making changes to EXISTING Minecraft code. It seems to me you praise the modder of Minecraft more than Minecraft itself. There WOULD BE NO MODDERS or MODS without Minecraft.
"what do Jeb and Mojang do in 2 months?"
Alot, actually. You do realize that they don't even have to release updates right? 2 months is actually very quick for a game to be updated. Think how long it takes to get a Call of Duty DLC? Geez I love Minecraft.
"Or the 1.6.2 update. Few things, such as horses."
Horses offer a new mode of transportation, I mean would you rather ride a pig? Not to mention 24 colored clay blocks were added, 24 colors of carpet, and leads are also very useful.
"He isn't even on his table/computer. HE'S PLAYING PINBALL!"
Dude. I would LOVE to see you stare at a computer and code a game 24/7. Im SUUUREEEEE you could do it. Those videos you have seen are of Jeb TAKING A BREAK. Not that common, you know
My final statement: Ignore this guy Mojang, and keep doing what your doing.

Hmm having the textures remain after April Fools is pretty weird. I'm sure you can go in and manually remove the files but like you said that would be tedious and leave room for error. I think the best advice I can give is to uninstall and reinstall Minecraft. If you are playing with mods, you will also have to reinstall those mods. And DO NOT FORGET to make a copy of your worlds before deleting Minecraft so they aren't deleted. If you don't know how to do that here's a quick rundown:
Search "%appdata%" in File Explorer (without quotes, and assuming you're on a PC).
Open the .Minecraft folder and locate a folder in it called "Saves".
All the folders in there are your worlds, copy them onto your desktop.
Delete the .Minecraft folder then download Minecraft again from Minecraft.net
Put those folders back into the new "Saves" folder (you may have to run Minecraft at least once in order for that folder to appear).

A very sloppy way to do this would be to connect the lever in question to a piston that destroys redstone that is part of the trap's circuit. Of course, this would mean having to replace the piece of broken redstone whenever you want to re-arm the trap.
If you don't want to re-arm it I think you can use repeaters to accomplish this (but don't take my word for it I don't have much experience with locking repeaters). Extend the line of redstone on the trap to be able to fit a repeater in it somewhere. Then, make the lever power a repeater that is pointed into the repeater. Whenever you power the lever, the repeater in the trap's circuit should be locked, preventing redstone flow through it. Again, you will have to do a little research on that because I'm not 100% sure that that is how locking repeaters actually works.

Seems you just got unlucky. More than likely an above-ground lava pool spawns in the forest and sets surrounding trees on fire. For this to happen four times in different seeds though is pretty unlucky. It can also be lightning too, we can't rule that out.
I'm not accusing you of anything but in the picture it seems like you were the one who set the fires, because there is fire in the plains biome where it cannot naturally spread to and also it is highly unlikely for ALL the trees to burn down.

Hmm, I may be mistaken but I thought you could just right click the crop and it harvests the crop but leaves a seed planted, like most agricultural mods.
If I'm wrong about that though, you can use the Garden Gloche from the Immersive Engineering mod. It consumes water and power but it grows a single type of plant very rapidly, and automatically collects and replants it.

I think there is sometimes discounts for the mobile version but for the Java version they don't do discounts.

Haha from the title of the thread I thought your computer caught on fire. Glad that wasn't the case.

I like the mirage mechanic, not so sure on the mobs and biome features. Also, in my personal opinion, it has been long overdue for quicksand to be added to Minecraft so that would be a nice addition.

But yeah, if you want to be technical the goal of Minecraft is to kill the ender dragon.

Redstone dust is like electrical wiring in minecraft. Just place down a line of dust from the pressure plate to the trapdoor and the pressure plate will send a signal for the trapdoor to open.

If you hop on a boat to find one you basically just have to keep your eyes peeled and get lucky. However, there is a neat little way of (sometimes) finding them. There is a type of villager called the "cartographer" that sells treasure maps. Treasure maps show you one point of interest in your world (including a water temple, but it could also be a jungle temple, and such). Try finding this villager and buying a lot of maps from him.

If you stand too close mobs won't spawn. Mob's don't spawn in a circular area 36 blocks around the player. Also if the player is too far away (180 blocks I think) mobs won't spawn. Also make sure the game is not on peaceful difficulty.

Oh, this biome can indeed be considered "rare"? I find dead trees all the time in Mesa biomes.

My very first time playing Minecraft (mind you, this was in Beta 1.7) I died before the first night even fell. How did I die you may ask? I punched a wolf thinking that it was hostile to start with but then it TURNED hostile, along with 6 other wolves in the vicinity. Scared the ever living heck out of me and I was ripped to shreds.

Well, Mesas exist in the normal game. But seeing as you have 17 mods installed, this plateau variant may be included in one of those.

Honestly ScotsMisers post was too long to read for me but I think his main point was that the chests HAVE to be above the furnaces, not below, in order to make use of hoppers. I also agree with ScotsMiser that using minecarts isn't all that bad, its usually just as fast as hoppers and if you can't stand the noise they make you can turn off their sounds in the settings.
