Personally I feel like using sticks is getting old for tool handles in Minecraft maybe we could keep sticks and yet add in bones or blaze rods for handles for your tools of any kind, it would almost have different effects while holding tools, like the bone handle on your pickaxe when mining would give you night vision or haste one. Then the blaze rod handle would give fortune 1 on every 10th block destroyed with a buff of haste 2. and as Mojang add more stick like things to the game we can use those for tool handles. To add to the idea it could almost give the tool you have longer lasting durability and give you different enchants buffs or maybe even status effects if your tool gets lower in durability, it would give you status effects like mining fatigue or slowness once the durability gets lower. Aswell on the other tools like your sword the bone handle would do more damage to different mobs or can be found already crafted in different locations (example dungeons/strongholds and mineshafts.) and like I mentioned with the uses in different locations like the blaze rod handle could do more in the nether such as dig or mine faster or kill fire related mobs faster, the bone handle could also have looting 2 but only on wither or normal skeletons. and maybe these different pickaxes can be upgraded by doing something or a certain amount of it. like the pickaxe would get fortune 2 instead of 1 and get the extra stuff every 3rd block instead things like that. Anyway thanks for reading and I hope maybe my idea will be found y someone and made a reality!

Toadrunner posted a message on Minecraft 1.15 Update Opinion ThreadPosted in: Recent Updates and SnapshotsThe bees came as a surprise to me. They are cute, but they don‘t satisfy any need, and I can take them or leave them. I never noticed any of the bugs that have been fixed in 1.15 so far.

We know for a fact that it will not be a cave update. And the "bugs and bees" thing was a joke, referring to programming bugs. I doubt very much that is really the theme of the update, they'll be saving that for MineCon.
There was an official denial about a cave update? Very disappointing if so, but nonetheless I do love the bee's and look forward to playing with their possibilities in my farms!

_zombiehunter posted a message on Regarding disappearing threads, posts and usersPosted in: Forum Discussion & InfoAs one of the 1 million affected users, I would like to note the following:
1 - The notification emails you sent out were sent to my old (now unused) email adress I used when joining the forums 6 years ago, not to the current email I provided to my Twitch account, which the forum uses now. This is the reason I did not notice the transfer right away until my threads and posts have been deleted. I still haven't recieved any information why you did it this way, but I'm pretty certain something went wrong here.
2 - I've never seen any pop-up appearing on the forums hinting the transition to Fandom. It is not completely out of question that add-block ate it, but that's still strange as it only blocks web elements that are explicitely marked as adds. I've seen all other pop-ups appearing in the past too, even the one telling people to transfer their forum accounts to Twitch. Why would exactly this one be supressed by add-block? (Also, please don't come with "why u not deactivate add block? blablabla ... I've cought malicious stuff through adds in the past, also at least 90% of adds on the internet are pure cancer, especially the ones with sound. Not even talking about how much faster websites load with add-block ... the MC forums are no exception here. I'm not turning it off, never again!)
So yeah, I was completely unaware this purge is happening. I totally understand the GDPR and it's not a bad law, but it requires every company to give people a clear option to consent or opt out of any kind of data usage or data transfer. I did not recieve this option in any proper way. I get the feeling there might have been a few mistakes on your side, or not? I mean, the transition to Twitch worked flawlessly ...
I'm sure I'm not the only one having years worth of forum posts deleted out of nowhere, so what do you guys think? Anyone else out there who recieved zero information before having his stuff deleted?
