Oookay, becuase of my recent "setback" in Lethamyr I decided to go back to Kaizo Caverns. Aaand
I loved the map, my favorite area was probably Ilvern Ruins/Mines because I've always liked the areas with stories. Cavern of the sky was actually one of the harder place just because of its sheer size. To me it was harder than the later areas, but we'll get to that later. One complaint I have is the silverfish, I get that its supposed to be difficult but they're just annoying. You don't seem to be able to mine stone without being covered in silverfish within minutes. The other is that the last areas were way to easy, well other than the ear rape cavern, Grave of The Dragon took a few minutes, pouring water to make a bridge to the fleecey box. Spine Forest took longer but required no searching as the multiple diving helmets gave away the dugeons location and the dungeon wasn't that difficult. Planar Warp was the exception, because it was so long. The Citadel of Demons, again not the ear rape cave, was kind of easy with all the TNT I had accumulated from the other areas. I think the battlesign is what made it so easy, never having to worry about breaking it, and having so mamy awesome enchantments was just overpowered. I only ended up dying once, to
one of the gold mine tnt trap traps
Overall this was on of my favorites though.
I guess now to a different one, also, because of Kamyu's Easy Mode picture I decided to not play on easy mode when I go back to Lethamyr.
NOOOOO! The last wool! Why vechs why!?!? Only one wool left in lethamyr and a ghast knocks me of a bridge to my death. **** this game I'm going to easy mode.
if Zisteau did it in what, 6 deaths on his first playthrough? I'm sure if you practiced it'd be easy.
plus the "its a secret to everybody" thingy helps. couldn't be too hard.
I thought it was seven deaths. Maybe not though, I should go check.
If Vechs had a fleecy box with a player sensor next to it that shot a dispenser that had a hacked potion of Mining Fatigue V for 5:00...
That would just be mean.
Not if they had TNT handy explosions help everything! That's why myth busters is such a good show.
AxlRosie's comic inspired me to make my own. But because I can't draw for my life, I used screenshots to make the comic. This is a comic about Super Hostile in general. Enjoy!
Here it is, as promised to Rosie:
(le snip)
So that's it! Hope you liked it! Not anywhere near as good as Rosie's, but I worked hard on it and had fun making it. And it only took about 3 hours! Damn my image editor, nearly threw it out the window after trying to edit the trollfaces onto the creepers.
Vechs, in case you didn't know I am "pretty" sure that enchanting stackable items like feesh makes it incredibly easy to duplicate them, just toss an unenchanted item on the ground, and when you pick it up it will stack with the enchanted one making two of them. This also works the other way around. I did this test a while ago so this information might be false now.
I used far render distance and had trouble finding it, because I didn't go straight to the forest. I explored the outskirts of the map first, and never really needed to go to the forest for anything other than wool. The light blue dungeon doesn't really stand out when you are at the other dungeons in the forest.
That's where I made my first base, I just went straight toward the middle of the map and thought it would be a good place to set up for a few day/night cycles.
Thanks, I mistook the directions of the map. I thought the spawn was in the west!
I found it by just walking around in the forest until i saw the giant freaking tree! I've seen about two or three people having trouble with finding it, come on, a giant Titan Willow is pretty hard to miss unless your using tiny or short render distance. If you are, then I'm sorry for ranting.
Short review of Super Docile 2: Can't find ****, captain!
Been wandering around like mad and only found a natural trap (mined gravel, fell to death in cavern) and a burning forest (some lava is a bit too close to some trees). And the cave system. It looks pretty good. But according to the in-game rules, we do need to find the wool in chests... and as of thus far, I have found naught.
Hmm, with SoFII almost done I guess that'll mean back to infernal sky. Evil, evil corrupted files, I was so close to the end. And of course, I was also working on legendary, I had just made my way through the
