They're basically a bunch of idiots completely capable but unwilling to read, so you'll see them get an item, keep it on them for half a dozen episodes, and then be genuinely confused when they start causing explosions. They seem unable to figure out which items let them sneak on air, despite having read it out loud like 10 times.
The awesome items they've got are wasted because they'll read them out loud, and then promptly stick them in a chest or throw them away and have them dissolve into emeralds.
Is it correct that there is not a 1.9/1.10 version right now?
I'd love to test something if it exists, I see there's a github for 1.9 but it says it hasn't been updated in a month, and it doesn't look like that was for in game content.
Yeah that just doesn't even seem like better design than XP... I think armor leveling based on Spell XP would be great, as it encourages you to actually use the mod in order to reap the benefits of imbuement. That said, it still faces the original problem that you can't transfer between armors.
Honestly, just applying items to your armor as modifiers (like you do with Tinker tools) would solve everything. Can't afk farm, doesn't punish squishy mages, doesn't punish making new armor much (if you advance far enough in the game to merit a whole new armor set, you're probably advanced enough that making more armor upgrades isn't a big deal.) Could use topaz->chimerite->moonstone->sunstone as upgrades, since I always felt those items needed more use/value anyway, and they are from this very mod.
No matter what the change is in the future, I just hope that the compendium actually explains it accurately, unlike right now where it's out of date, and that there are config options for it.
Honestly, I wish we could use the spell altar to add those imbuements, or some ritual, it'd really feel like you're some kind of ancient artificer putting your magic into your armor.
Yeah, that's the guide I was following, I keep getting stuck one way or another, but sometimes trying the same thing a dozen times works for no reason I can tell.
So I'm trying to make cheese, does it work currently? I get very inconsistent behaviour, between having to spend 20 minutes troubleshooting and trying random things because sometimes clicking the sword on the cheese vat doesn't work to not being able to add salt(or anything else) once I've removed the whey after randomly getting it to sort of start working.
Do you right click with salt/dye or just toss it in?
So whats the deal with Ars Magica and Hardcore Ender Expansion? I see a warning about not being compartible, any bad reason I should worry about? :<
I am not sure what the issue is, I've never seen any kind of error other than that warning relating the two together, I'm guessing(hoping) it's just an outdated message that is no longer relevant.
I also have the issue with the golem's bell crashing with reliquary, and it's really sad, reliquary is one of those mods I want to add because I feel it doesn't get the attention it deserves anymore.

I loved the carts and looms modules most, battlehearts was also awesome, but I think those were the only 3 I regularly used.

I have had a server running 3gb, I don't think I've ever had a singleplayer world over that.
And with 27 mods, are you running some kind of crazy ultra graphics pack?

It's wonderful.

I concur. In fact I rarely used the rest of it, but being able to make lanterns hanging from wrought iron chains is so useful.

I'm fairly certain any buff spells put into a summon apply to the summon itself.

As far as I know you can modify all the recipes via config already, no need for Mine/modtweaker.

uhhh
Enchiridion adds all books into a gui to select, doesn't add a button, just a hotkey to open it up

Hah, one per sheaf of wheat? I'll believe it if you say so but that seems excessive, I would treat it like coal, 8 operations, at least.

Yeah, I just left mine at -5, but I definitely did not get the scale right initially, ice is apparently not very good at cooling you off 0.o
