Hi, i'm new to this mod and i'm trying to get it to work with my 1.10 game, but i see no changes, is there something i'm missing, forge, api, anything??
I take it, it's just supposed to go into the mod folder?
..Also please a 1.8.9 version would be great as well.

Hi, first off I'd like to say this is a wicked mod, really nicely done, hooked me line and sinker in to playing Minecraft again,
I found myself with a bit of a problem the other day, I decided to add this mod to the my sunken world map that I've been making on and off for a while, I made a nice location for it in my castle, all went well and I got my portal open to the twilight forest, but the portal that was made for me on the other side was at the bottom of a small pond, with the water surrounding the portal, as I was making my way out of the pond I hit a dirt clod and destroyed it which flooded the water into the portal destroying it also, the portal must have still been active because when I went to pick up the components for it I got sucked back into my world, now every time I try to go back into the twilight forest I get sent straight back to my world.
I've tried make a new portal but it only does the same and sends me to the broken one in the twilight forest and then back to my first portal, I tried removing the mod completely and loading the map back and then saving it, then putting the twilight forest mod back on again but it keeps doing the same thing.
I do have a backup map but it's a bit out of date.
I can see how this could be a problem for other people so I was wondering, when you do your next update, could you add the ability to your mod that makes a new portal in the twilight forest in a different location when you open a new portal in the home world?
Or if the home world portal is destroyed and then a new one is made it will make the second portal somewhere else, randomly maybe?
Again this is a great mod and I would luv to get it working in my map again, thanks for help you can supply as well, cheers.
I'm really sorry to hear this has fallen thru for you and will not be completed, it would have been a major mod for all us non-coders, who would have finally had a chance to make our own mobs without having to ask, suggest, donate, plead etc.. the other Mob Modders to make them for us, we could have done it ourselves, without bothering anyone else,(maybe)
I hope you don't give up, but just take a break and step back for a bit and re-think how to finish it.
My suggestion would be to complete it in secret with only a few close friends to help test it, take your time and release it when you’re ready and not everyone else,
Your biggest mistake was to post it up early in the forums, now you got people who are inspired and impatient for your mod and are now becoming even frustrated, this is a big pressure to be under and doesn’t help much in completing any project, again best bet is to complete it in secret and release it when you’re ready.
Again thanks for all your hard work and I really hope you don’t give up on it and if you do we understand and hope your next project has a better outcome for you.

very much looking forwards to being able to create my own mobs, also remember we have a Skindex of skins, so i don't see why we can't have a Mobdex for mobs created by the community aswell.
What I dont understand is why you have to make it worse, I understand were the mods (I presume a mod said not to upload) are comming from, they dont want spammed MobMaker Mobs but they could easily make a topic for them and not allow people to post them outside of that topic, problem solved :smile.gif:

Hi, I really enjoy using your battletowers mod, I just luv it when I find an unexplored tower in new lands, the only problem i have with battle towers is the end boss on top of the tower, if I have removed the mod for whatever reason, mainly game upgrades, what happens is when i find a new tower and the tower mod is not on, the game will crash, the only reason I think the game crashes is becuase of the end boss, far as I can tell your mod uses 99% of the games native textures and blocks/models, except for the end boss, which I belive is a new model and texture, my thinking is that if you were only to use native textures and models, eg; use a player model and just use cobble stone texture as the boss, the game would never crash when were forced back to native for a new update, plus I think if anyone uses this native friendly verison to up date the worlds that already have the mod on, this will make them also compatible with future upgrades of the game and battle towers will no longer be depentdent to the build, unless notch makes changes in a big way with class files and all.
Please keep in mind that i'm not a coder of any type nor a programer, so I could be very wrong about all this,
just thought if you used only ingame texures and models, your mod can become a lot more excessable to all.
Hi Kodaichi, All your mods are great, I look forward to all your releases, i'm becoming a very big fan of your work, the whirlwind mod is the just the best and loads of fun, I jumped on a whirlwind as it passed me for fun and got thrown over a cliff, landed in the water, once or twice I was cutting some trees down and then suddenly I'm on to of the tree, it saved me once also from a creeper that was chasing me, he ran right into it and got dropped into a hole.
So I was wondering, based on the Whirlwind mod could you maybe make a Ghost type mod.
Ghost type mob, look similar to a whirlwind but with a slight greenish or bluish glow and a pair of arms, ether yellow,(evil) or white,(good) glowing eyes, they only roam around at night, gone by sun up, invisible most of the time until you walk thru one, then it materializes, (ghost gives NO hints as to where one might be before it materializes) besides a low moaning or groaning sound, sometimes also rattling chains.
Ghost is randomly spawned as good or evil.
Ghosts only spawn on or next to cobble stone, stone, glass, nether rock, ghost can float 1sq above/walk over or thru anything, so when they spawn normally they can wander anywhere, Ghost can not fly, they can glide down from a height, they are earth bound spirtes.
Evil ghosts; attack you by draining your hearts ¼ heart damage at a time also leaves you feeling cold,( sound effect, ”BRRRRR” or teeth chattering sound) and moving slow while in range of the materialized ghost, which will follow you and keep attacking.
All ghosts can only be hurt by an iron tools or sword or a gold tool or sword, damage as normal.
Good ghosts; will ether runaway and drop a healthy present, apple, bread, etc.. Or it might decide to follow you and help out, especially if you give it something like a loaf of bread, etc… if you are already hurt it may even heal you up a bit.
If a succubus is around then all evil ghosts that are near her will materializes and follow her and aid her.
But what inspires me the most about this ghost/s mob is the way you created the Whirlwind, I think this would be a good challenge for you, I also could see the whirlwind mod being used to make insect swarms for the day time.

i'm only using SDK's Guns and Mo'Creatures, any idea what the problem is?
I think I read a couple of pages back that SDK's isn't compatible with the new version of modloader. That could be the problem.

Right now I got that sorted let's talk about some good nice Wholesome smoking mod's, How about;
1) A mod called, "That 70's Minecraft mod!", (nope sorry can’t have that one, everyone is smoking ..sumth’n all the time in it)
2) Or how about Gandalf and Frodo's Pipes from Lord of the Rings and maybe some of that hobbit .... I can't remember what it was called again, but some of the smoke rings & shapes they were blow'n, sure would look cool.
3) Maybe we can bring some Native American folk lore into the game and have peace pipes and maybe some of that Cactus they took so they could talk and commune with the sprites.
4) How about a TV mod, that way we can sit back,( if we could sit back that is) and watch mindless TV till dawn, makes the night go quicker and as a bonus the day as well.
5) What about a policeman mod, he comes into your base and does a search for drugs then watches and follows you around all the time to make sure you don’t get up to anything illegal. (For those of you who are worried that you might Sercombe to the evils of pot, he also comes as your local priest or as your mother/farther even as the Dormitory head prefect, (who will keep 10% of your stash if he find it, for himself while handing the rest in))
6) Here’s an idea, make a video game mod, that lets you play all the old classic retro games while in Minecraft, it can work like the record player, only you have to put a painting of a TV above the player to see it and stand within two squares to control the game while holding a wireless controller, if you add the junk food mod on and eat while playing it makes the game harder while you get slower and fatter, latter causing you to walk about belligerently shouting your opinions to everyone, if they asked for it or not.

I think the OP should build this mod and post it up here, I think those who like it will use it and those who don’t will not or most likely will keep coming back and shoving their views down everyone else’s throats anyways, if we all agree or not, if we like it or not, I just wish that most of them would get an education, (of some sorts at least) before they post.
Looking forwards to the mod, maybe include other types of Smoke-able’s as well, crafting different classic styed pipes and tobaccos, include the ability to grow as well and cross breed for different effects, I can easily imagine my avatar standing on his balcony overlooking my domain and puffing a dragon shaped smoke trail …then falling over into my lava moat because I got to High :biggrin.gif:

Sugestion:
Instead of wood for the wings, why not use wool?
- if you use wool we can colour the wool first, giving us diffrent colored planes/wings
