Edit - I thought the trip wire hook was a wooden lever lol
Also, the "map" in the item frame shows the minecraft screen.
The block in the ceiling is either stairs (most likely) or a hint at partial blocks...

Nov 24, 2011reaper45693 posted a message on Weekly Pre-Releases Scheduledlol it would be great if you all stopped complaining about FREE updates.Posted in: News
Minecraft being taken out of BETA doesn't mean full game. It means they know enough about it and feel there is enough content to take it out of BETA (which by the way, is essentially testing stages)
They never planned to stop making updates, and yeah there will be bugs that the 10 or so guys at mojang can't/won't find, its a big game = big chance of missed bugs.
Minecraft "Full" probably won't be around for a good year or so, and pre-releases are OPTIONAL! they do them so that people can report bugs, so when they release the next set of features to the public, it works properly.
Coming out of BETA means they have stopped testing core minecraft, they know its limitations and capabilities, now its time for more content.
Think of The Elder Scrolls games - they have BETA versions, it comes out of it, and releases, YET they still do patches, and add content via DLC. This is essentially the same thing.
END RANT.
Good to see more content is coming already!!
Keep it up Mojang :biggrin.gif: - To post a comment, please login.

Check if you are running 32 or 64 bit install.
If you are running 64 bit, you need to actually find the 64 bit download over on the java page, due to the default being the 32 bit, which will spit that error at you.

The Map is out of date due to the maker not being online for months, obviously something came up.
But his profile says he was on about 5 days ago. So we may see him back and active on here soon.

Have enjoyed every minute of it
Just went to the nether so about to fully explore that. Apart from that ive done all the overworldly things.
Keep up the great work!

And I was saying before that with the idea of chunks being un-loaded when travelling too far away, would simply mean we shouldn't create redstone contraptions and such too far away from our main area. Unless of course we get a mod that adds a chunk loader, which loads the chunk it is in, and the 4 chunks next to it.
0
Apart from that things are great, but we need the magma bottom even if themp chunks is implemented.
0
Coz we do NOT want the world to be infinately deep... We want the bedrock with magma, but the temp chunks down to there is good, and i guess you would have to do it sideways too... Which just means we don't create redstone contraptions and builcraft factories too far away (coz the far away de-load would also kill that too)

The temp chunks idea would almost HAVE to be put in place to make it work with the least lag it can.
I again will say that as long as the magma cannot be picked up, its all good.
And possibly when it goes up the 50 or so blocks, make it not destroy natural items (so ores etc that spawned on chunk creation) but destroy player placed things. So maybe make it rise sort of slow after 20 or so levels (in case of underground bases/houses that got built)
Or just don't be nice and make the magma rise very quickly lol
But yeah it than sets to smooth stone AND the block above the magma (level with the bedrock) becomes bedrock
E.G. Below Bedrock is source A, when breaking bedrock Source B is created in place of the destroyed bedrock which launches out Flowing Magma. Than say a random 50-80 minutes later the Source B turns to Bedrock and than Flowing Magma having been cut off from the source than slowly cools over the next 10-40 minutes (so minimum 1 hour for all stone and maximum 2 hours for all stone)

It is the one item I want most (that and the remote, but the remote is showing up) It is the item that requires a dish, ob stick, a wafer, and 2 stone wires... But it wont show up in game, or when i do the crafting recipe... I tried adding it into my game didn't work. So i started from scratch and tried again... It still doesn't work...
Also looking at it with ID Resolver, it says it is ID 6409. The config file says 6153. If i change the config file to 6409 than it gets assigned a different ID in game... And if I change it to 6153 using ID resolver it still doesn't work... But the other items (such as obsidian stick) says it is a certain ID in ID Resolver, but in the config for wirelessredstone it says its a different number, but I can still access the other items including the ob stick..

Which is called??
I cannot find it, and when pressing U in NEI, it only is used in the snifer recipe...?
0
I can craft the item, i can spawn it in etc. It is clearly in my game, but i CANNOT place it... anywhere...

Well ill get rid of the example quests. But any idea how to get rid of the block thing?
Trying to remove as much lag as possible (its very little but still...)

But i got the following in my Millenaire text file, just wanna make sure its nothing affecting my game that I just havn't come across yet

The magma beneath the bedrock would not be lava. It would be a new liquid susbtance, and it would be given the properties to "propell" upwards when it can (say 5 or so blocks)
Water would simply evaporate when placed near it, and any block attempted to be placed in it, melts (not in the overflow, but in the source of it, beneath the bedrock)
This would make the magma un-collectable, and mean you cannot "expand" beneath the bedrock layer.
I love this idea btw.
