It does change, I've downloaded the NBTExplorer but don't know which value to edit, what would it be?

That only increased it to about 1.30, and I used the command multiple times. Is there any way to go higher?

posted a message on My Minecraft "Let's play" :D
Hello everyone, my name is Rdestroy and I am here to show off my channel, and possibly get a view new friends :) Basically, I've just started a Minecraft LP with my friend on a server we know and love. In episodes one and two you'll see we don't start from scratch, but I hope you'll enjoy it anyway!

    Here's episode 1, It's raining chicken!:
As well as Episode 2, Trolololing!:

Sorry about any lag in the video, Minecraft runs pretty smooth while recording, but my software doesn't want to record it at the FPS I get :P . Oh well, I hope you enjoy what you see :D I also have other videos unrelated to Minecraft like Earthbound, Terraria, and Realm of the Mad God if you're interested.

    Have a nice day!

Short bio: Well obviously I play Minecraft. I like to play in survival servers and want to try a new PvP one. I like to fight and I don't rage if I lose too often. I play fair and have been moderator on other servers. People say I'm a nice guy too :D

No lol, the server in my sig is a good one, the one I got banned from is different.
    Quote from Daidouken

Is the server in your sig the one you got banned from? I went on it and the rules are ridiculous. There's more freedom in a concentration camp for Notch's sake.
Oops, i made this post backwards...

I was with Razul on the server since he joined, we are IRL friends and I was the one who told brandolio9 (the admin) off for him. Just a quick update on the subject: razul is banned, brandolio9 is going to have his admin rights revoked, and for some reason you can't buy Minecraft in Illinois. Dafuq is up with that? Anyway, we still want your opinions and suggestions on how to prevent this in the future.
    -cosmosguy
Yeah, what he said. Cosmosguy is one of the guys I mention in the story, and what he said is true. The admin is gonna most likely be revoked, I may be unbanned eventually. We still want your opinions/suggestions on how to avoid this later on.

I don't play on servers often; but when I do, I make sure to play with friends and people I can trust. I suggest you do the same.

That reminded me of a meme, but that's beside the point. I did play with friends, and a few of them joined the "admin"'s faction. They don't admit it irl, but I think it's safe to say they were using him. For example, they both had full sets of enchanted diamond armor, and diamonds are pretty scarce on the server.

You've only played it for a couple weeks, I would get out of there before you're really dedicated to it.
I'm banned now, and does anyone know where I can write a review of the server?

    There's your problem.

Any place where money directly leads to power is bound to be wracked by power tripping admins.
Exactly, I didn't know you could buy them up until this whole thing started. Until then, I thought he was a trusted admin.

What you have to realize is that the majority of users in game are either children, or immature. That being said, it is very easy for someone to become "Power drunk" and abuse the little power they have.

One example: I was playing on an SMPPVP server with my brother a few months back. The server was running the plugin Factions, as well as a few others. The server owner had asked us if we would like to participate in future "raids", as it was called. We said that we didn't want to be in raids right now because we were a few days fresh on the server and we wanted to get settled in. I also let him know that if we were to participate, we would want to build a keep and not use our mountain cave. He respectfully agreed and went about his business.

A few hours later he was asking if anyone had some wooden planks that they didn't want. Now being that my brother and I had stacks of the stuff, we said okay. He teleported to us and I gave him a stack from our chests. As I was headed back to the mines I heard the noise of a chest being opened behind me, he was looking into one of ours. I proceeded to ask him what he's doing and he said that he was just looking. I thought this was rather rude and was suspicious of his actions so I looked into the chest while he was as well. He started to empty my chests of all the valuables. Needless to say I was angry, so I killed him. He then retaliated by slaying me and telling me something along the lines of that not being allowed. When I asked him what the hell he was doing taking my stuff. He tried to weasel out of it by saying something along the lines of, "I took too much, so I'm putting some back". Damn right he took too much, he took a stack of iron and some tools with him. When I started to poke holes in his logic my brother had come back from mining and noticed what was going on. He tried to weasel out of it even further by stating that he was "raiding" us. Something that we had not wished to participate in a few hours earlier.

He started to trip up in his story and eventually I chewed him out so badly that he left his own server.

My brother and I were on Skype cracking up laughing because I told the server owner to "**** off" and he just left. Didn't ban me or anything. We left right after because we didn't feel that we wanted to waste our efforts doing something if we were going to be treated like dirt.
The one problem with standing up to the admin on this server: If he gets in an argument that he can't win, or knows he won't be able to later on, ban. The problem is the owner is very busy in real life and can't even go on the server too much. So the admin assumes he has all the power. Even though he donated to get it.

That avatar REALLY makes Mojang want to help you.

    Lol

I have a few friends that live nearby who have been able to purchase Minecraft. I am currently not able to contact them, though. How can Mojang ignore the 5th largest state in the US (with nearly 13,000,000 residents) but cater to a state with only 515,000? When you think about potential revenue it really doesn't make sense.

I know right! You should contact Mojang via e-mail and find out what is going on.
