I made this petition so everyone who wants pistons to be added to minecraft can sign under. This will make Notch actually understand how many people that want pistons implemented to the game!
Instead of Notch "fixing" bugs and adding unnecessary features, we want him to just simply add pistons.
Pistons are basically done so it can't be too hard to add to the game
Share it with everyone you know and then when we have evnough signers we can send it to Notch so he understands how many people that actually want pistons to be implemented!
I totally agree! After playing Terraria, and saw all the unique and different tools and items they had, and how many items there was in the game, I realized how much better Minecraft could have been.
If minecraft added (a lot) of more new items the game would be so much more exciting, there is not many items in Minecraft and I have had all of them. In Terraria, it's pretty amazing if you have had all of them.
I know pretty much everything there is in Minecraft by now, and I find it kinda "meh..." right now, after playing Terraria.
My first fail was when I had just bought minecraft, and I was just going around exploring the land, collecting resources and such. I had made myself a home and collected some logs (I had watched a few videos), then I walked down a 3-4 block high "cliff" and I lost a few hearts, I had no idea what to do, and since I had just started I thought there was no way to get the hearts back, so I deleted the world and made a new one...
2nd fail (and the one I remember the most) is when I had made this awesome treehouse, probably the best house I've ever made in my minecraft history. I had just made this glass floor with water underneath, and then I was going to make a glass ceiling with lava on top. Somehow I screwed up and the whole house was filled with lava and everything burnt. I didn't play minecraft for probably a month after that.
Nah, that's perfectly fine. It looks like you have a class missing from your JAR. Try downloading minecraft.jar again and see if it works without the mod installed, if it works fine, then install the mod.
I did, it worked perfectly fine without the mod installed. Then I installed the mod, and the same as before happened... I've also tried re-innstalling the mod, which doesn't work either.
Umm ok... that's wierd then - what version of the mod are you trying to install? V2.6_02? Please verify that you have the latest version by downloading it and installing it again.[/quote]
Okay, so I re-downloaded the newest version (V2.6_02) and now it works wonderfully :biggrin.gif: Thanks!
I don't know if I downloaded the wrong version by mistake, or if something screwed up while dowloading/installing it, but it doesn't matter. Thanks again, for this great mod, and I can now continue making the custom map I am working on :biggrin.gif:

I'm starting to get some weird error that causes minecraft to collapse completely on me when I open my world, and its kinda a pain in the butt. Anyone else getting the same problem or know why this would happen? Minecraft closes to fast for me to even get an error message out of it.
Run minecraft from the command line and provide me with the error message and I'll try and help you out:
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: net/minecraft/client/Minecraft

I am on a mac, and that's what I got when I tried running that code in "terminal".
EDIT: I can't get the minecraft error message, because minecraft crashes before I even can get a glimpse of it.
ive been having problems with the 1.4 single player commands because it keeps force quiting when it says simulating world for a bit. i've deleted the meta inf folder and put the worldedit.jar in the bin folder not minecraft.jar

It is. Try making a more compact one, I bet 10$ you can't.

You will most likely spawn in front of a skeleton spawner, but if you didn't the coordinates are:
x: 236
y: 66
z: 177
How it looks un-touched
When dug out
Just thought I would share it with you guys!

Use for feathers
Use for slimeballs
Books being writeable (maybe crafting a feather and ink will make a quill)
