    So has anyone had any luck getting the Shaders mod to work with Thaumcraft? Kept trying with different versions of Forge etc, it's literally just something about Thaumcraft and Shaders in the same mod folder that causes it to crash out. It's weird.


    Azanor should you get some free time would you mind looking into this? It's minor, I'd rather the mod itself work without Shaders but in the event that it's a two second fix that would be wonderful friend.

    Seems that Thaumcraft doesn't play nice with the Shaders mod :(


    It's weird too, it is only a conflict with Thaumcraft. It works alone, works with the two other mods I have, but nopes right on out when Thaumcraft comes in.

    So Azanor two things at this point, one do you have a rough idea on how long it will probably be before we can start hoping for Golems to be readded, and two do we know anything about if forge plans on going a route that works better for your mod and allows you to bring back some of the fancier things like animations/etc?

    Ideas: We need some form of clan/gang activity options. Safehouses would be a nice idea on top of a proper investment system. I invest money to make my home/safehouse nicer in some sense whether that's just making it bigger or even making it stronger. Could allow investment in businesses to give perks to your allies or gang members while also bringing in steady cash over time. It's pretty straightforward stuff but I'd probably be able to throw out more ideas vocally.

    If you've ever played Stranded 2, that is the kind of leveling/advancement I want. You actually have to do things over and over again to get better and more efficient at it. Go fishing, might not catch anything. Go fishing 25 times and catch something, you can now catch this type of fish or can craft this kind of rod, etc.

    I want a mod that actually takes the basics of Minecraft and push it to a RPG like status. I heard there was some old RPG mod that they had working for Bukkit but I heard it got abandoned.

    Might have posted on the wrong board, fingers crossed!

    My goal is to find a mod that works singleplayer or multiplayer that lets me get better at something through constantly doing said thing. Some people might be smacking their foreheads and going "dur" but I've played this game into the ground and need something that spices the game up that isn't just another crappy mod pack that adds a bunch of interesting things and HUGE GOD TIER LOOT TOWERS EVERY 5 STEPS!

    If anyone knows of any mod that lets me turn Minecraft into an RPG Minecraft, not crazy mystical this and that, just leveling up my ability to survive in the world is all I ask. For some of you; think Stranded or Stranded 2. I'm looking for skill leveling akin to that.

    Brownie points: Anyone know of a mod/modpack that actually disables what you can make until you research it or level up the ability to make it? No, not Thaumcraft! Played that into the ground and the new Thaumcraft isn't all that fun in my opinion.

    Okay so I'll just throw this forward. Guy's we haven't gotten Spiderqueen up to finished snuff yet because we only have one coder these days. We initially had two or three, but two of them just kind of never came back. If you know coding (I MEAN ACTUALLY KNOW HOW TO CODE MODS) send me a PM with an example and we'll see what we can do.
