yeah.. use a different recorder for one.. Frap might be a little better at initial size.. or bandicam would be ALOT better for starting size.. but once its done reconvert it.. the files you are starting with now is not compressed.. you need to reconvert it so that it will compress it to a smaller size
then it should be around 18megs a minute.. for 1080p video... if you go smaller like 480.. shuold be even smaller..
I was going to put a minecraft vid of a song I imported into the Noteblock Studio (Battlefield 1942/1943 theme) and a rollercoaster, then i found out that even in minimal settings,in 40 seconds, camstudio takes 1GB, and thats too large, it would take forever to upload the whole thing beings a few minutes long.Anything i can do?

I already got a copy thats in full settings that 3.51GB, i tried to compress it and got this
