It's a lot easier to move your house. MCEdit can do that quite easily.
Also I wouldn't want several of those near my house if that's your idea as the lag is ridiculous.
(Try opening all Monolith rooms and seeing how much your FPS drops.)
I'd rather not. My house is a small Island- The Monolith is inland.
I can run Sonic's Unbelievable Shaders Mod on... Basically max, and get 45-60 FPS (not using Extream View Distance though, that's overkill). TC2 Monoliths do nothing to me.
Fun note, Marble and Totems of Dawn look great together as a floor.
Just out of curiosity, why can't this use the *Recommended* version of Forge, 3.0.1.75? The requirements page lists a bleeding edge and possibly unstable version of 3.0.1.83. >.<
Er, actually... The taint on the surface requires high enough taint for it to exist- thus allowing the taint to grow.
The taint level doesn't increase, but the chunk does fully become engulfed in taint- or all blocks that are next to air within the chunk.
However, it shouldn't go farther then the current chunk, unless it's high enough to raise the ones next to it (thus reducing itself to raise them, but not enough to go below the level that taint disappears)- this allows for multiple chunks to get infected, but not spread over the entire world.
Unless you got the Taint Producing Spores, then you're screwed- if you can't stop them, that is.
I had this issue where when I installed this version of thaumcraft, it needed "ic2/api/IEnergySource" But I Didn't Put the thaumcraft IC api in the jar, but I went to do it instead. IC2 1.90 for 1.2.4 works with the latest forge 2.x.x version, so I put it in, but now the mods conflict Is there a Way where I don't have to install IC2 or do I just have to break down and resolve them?
I'm trying to run this with mcpatcher. I keeping getting this conflict
ModLoader
ModLoaderMP 1.2.5 v1

Only the files from minecraftforge-client-3.0.1.75 will be used.

Does it work? It says it's going to use Forge's files (which it should). If you can tell it to use Forge after, but over Modloader- Do so.

Yes. It's knowledge was lost, though.

Actually, it's only about 50% of each of the Forbidden/Tainted/Eldritch trees now, since 2.1.1.
Don't ask how I know. It's not like I did it... >.>

Lost is Start-Tier.
Forbidden+Taint is Mid Tier.
Eldritch is Late/End-Tier.
You can learn all of the lost stuff without ever making a Crucible. Some of the other stuff as well.

Good to hear the booby-trap was fixed in 2.1.2- I'm hoping to upgrade my world soon. (Assuming RP2 does.)

Custom EMC Mod made by PwnedGod.
Pahimar's working on it.

He said it should work with any 3.0.1.xx Forge.
Should.

You could give us an error report.

Monoliths give out a ton of taint when broken- Although that only happens in creative mode.

...How? o.0 They must work odd with breaking blocks.
It's a waste of time to code anything relating to Lightning Strikes.

Started as a no.
Now it's almost an instant ban from the IC2 forums.
