If you get Java not responding or black screen issues after a while playing, one cause is the game running out of memory.

For 64-bit users, get 64-bit JRE:
Java SE Runtime Environment 6u24
(Or browse http://www.java.com using 64-bit IE.)

Allocate the game more RAM:
1) Download the Linux / Other .jar
2) Create a new shortcut as below, amending the last path as appropriate:
"C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\bin\java.exe" -Xmx2G -Xms2G -jar "X:\PathTo\minecraft.jar"
(Note this refers to the above launcher minecraft.jar, not the one in \bin.)

Above 2G allocation assumes 64-bit, 32-bit Java users can only allocate up to around 1536M.
Feel free to play with these values.

I tryed this and still does not work, blac screen within thwe first 5 minutes of playing.....

I'm totally with you on this one.
i recently made a youtube account,
and while recording, or just playing bymyself online or offline.
still just goes black and says it has stopped working..

ive tried everything in this thread, still nothing :sad.gif:

Alright so i've been having this problem Where my screen turns black about 30 seconds into my game.
i recently had started a youtube channel, and when recording it makes no difference.

NOTE:

I HAVE deleted the bin folder. Still hasn't worked
i have re-installed minecraft and yet still nothing
I have deleted EVERYTHING to do with minecraft and started over.. still nothing
i changed the compatibility .
i run it as administrator
i have NO mods or texture packs.

PLEASE could someone help me ? i think i've tried everything.
i'm in love with this game and i just want it to start working again .

p.s : it does this is single player and multiplayer.

This is a SMP which for those who dont know what that is : "Survival multiplayer"
There's a great city scape ready to be built on and a castle just calling out your name!

farmer
guard(police)

You will be payed in ingots depending on job

heres the currency system

10 coal = iron ingot
10 iron ingot's = 1 gold ingot
10 gold ingot's = 1 diamond

*if you do have a job your job will be displayed in "[ ]"
