Can you post the Java error message?

Oh, and while you're there, a DxDiag would be nice too ;3

and 2. Possibly host its mate .apk for the beta minecraft? ( i know this is discouraged, but if you can find a way I'd be grateful)

I read somewhere that you can enable beta versions in the Play Store (google it, I guess)

posted a message on This forum is very resource-intensive

If you're using Firefox (like I am), installing the 2 essential add-ons helps tons.

    • Fasterfox (I'm not sure how it does what it does, but it does it very well)
    • Self-Destructing Cookies (Deletes a website's cookies after you close it; preventing it from tracking you but also preventing you from staying logged in if you don't specifically whitelist that site. Pretty good once you get the whitelist full of your sites)

Another thing I did that helped tons is to go into the Add-ons manager > Plug-Ins and disable everything (set to "Never Activate"). Then I set things I use a lot (like Flash player and Java) to "Ask To Activate". Now Firefox will put a bar at the top of the screen (kinda like IE) whenever something tries to run Flash in the background instead of just running flash in the background. This speeds up things a surprisingly huge amount.

Your graphics card drivers are outdated. You have a few choices here:

    • Upload a DxDiag and let us find the right drivers for you
    • Find them on your own
    • [I seriously reccomend you NEVER NEVER NEVER do this, but it is an option] Use a shady downloader/updater (shudder)

    Good.

Based off the prison cell and the orange shirt, I'd say good. Fantastic, even.

    Quote from Gavinski37 jump
If children have different accounts then their parents (since you said they don't have the rights) Why do you have the same account as your brother?

Sorry, I was under the impression that the new launcher placed all the game's files under C:\Program Files. Turns out it's still in appdata (and therefore still on a per-user basis).

And no, I don't share an account with my bro, but I used to, and it was so bad that I ended up using temporary environment variable reassignment to run the game off a USB flash drive.

Oh, and by the way, you'd be surprised how many people don't have administrative rights. I only have admin on my Mac (because the windows box is a "communal machine" and "you can't go installing adware". In fact, the only reason I have admin on the Mac is because of a backdoor I installed ages ago), and pretty much all of my friends are in the same boat. Not everyone has their own PC - most people share. This can make getting Minecraft wayy harder (especially if you're like one of my friends - his parents hate Minecraft and are constantly removing it from their PC - imagine having to convince them to stick their password in a box labelled "Minecraft Installer"!
