    Never mind, it just took ages to get through. Complied from source anyway, works like a charm (Amazing!)

    By the way, where's the best place to report some small bugs I found? On the GitHub repo, the other one (Support? The one issue there is just someone's application) or somewhere else?

    Oh, and you should make a GitHub repo of known working Bukkit plugins - That way people can pull-request it.

    That usually happens when there's some serious connection lag issues - i.e the internet connection between you and her is too slow. Try getting her to stop downloads, close programs that could be using the web (I always have trouble with Skype) and generally try to get both of you to stop using as much internet.

    It's probably one of 3 things:

    • Your internet's too slow for MC to work right (unlikely unless you've gone over your cap or something)
    • Something's eating up your bandwidth (downloads, Skype, heavy web browsing). Try closing some programs.
    • Your antivirus is blocking Minecraft (as every AV is different, there's no way for me to tell you if it is)

    If it's a limitation of your keyboard, there isn't much you can do about it (not without modifying it physically).

    You could try another keyboard, or change your play style so you don't need to press 3 keys at once, or maybe you could try something like the macros mod to put multiple functions on one key.

    That's weird. Do you have mipmaps or antialiasing on? Try messing around with them (these settings can be found in the Pause Menu>Options>Video Settings) Alternatively, you can try using Optifine.

    I don't think there's a way of reverting back to an old save, but if you're familiar with MCEdit you might be able to swap them back that way. Alternatively, there's a world recovery thread here. Admittedly, it's meant for flat-out corrupted maps, but it's still worth a shot in case you don't know your way around MCEdit.

    I poked around on your server and found the 1.8 version (mod_macros_0.11.1_beta1_mc1.8) but I can't launch it - it just crashes.

    I've also got VoxelMap and Gammabright in my mods folder, but I can confirm these work fine (taking macros out of the mods folder, MC runs and these 2 get loaded). I'm also using Optifine.

    This one works, I tested it. CHATCLEAN is a valid variable, it's just not listed in the command reference.

    HOWEVER! Chatclean will return the whole chat message, including the prefix and any odd spaces! To make sure you get it right, I'd copy the message out of the launcher (Everything after the [CHAT] , make sure to not include the space after the [CHAT])

    Thanks! Throwing a BINDGUI() into the onJoinGame event worked a treat. One other thing while I'm here, is it possible to change the text on a button through a macro? I tried SETPROPERTY but I don't think I got the syntax right. (I tried SETPROPERTY('BUTTON 265','Display Text','Test123'), which didn't work). I know it's gotta be possible ('cuz then progress bars would be useless) but I just can't get it to work.

    Oops. You need to enclose the command in an ECHO statement.
    Here's an example (with it working):

    This one triggers when it gets the message: "[Server] hey", and then responds with a "/me well HELLO". You can obviously change these to whatever you want.

    Here's the script in the macro box
    And here it is running!
    In case you're a copy/paste kind of person, here it is:
    $${IF(CHATCLEAN = "[Server] hey");ECHO("/me well HELLO");ENDIF;}$$

    Note how I added the ECHO(.

    Hey guys!

    I was looking through my post list the other day, and I've realised how arrogant I was last year... It's kinda embarrassing. I'm thinking of going back and editing old posts of this nature to be not nearly as bad; but I'm not sure about a few things.

    • Is it worth doing? (I've got at least 50 posts needing redoing, but they're all around a year old)
    • Will it bump the threads?
    • Will anyone even care?
    I dunno; I just look at some of these posts....

    You could stick some code in onChat along the lines of $${IF(CHATCLEAN = "[Insert faction created message here]");"/f enemy julian704";ENDIF;}$$
    Unfortunately, you can't stick that in a text file (it just doesn't work for me)
