Obviously needs some balancing work as per Jordon's video but good changes! Maybe with that extra range and the lack of shield delay I can finally kill cave spiders again. It was baloney how removing click spamming basically forced them/baby zombies/etc to always get a free attack on you because you couldn't hold their speed at bay.

Reinforced Boats, that require 2 iron ingots in the bottom corners. These would be breakable by most other effects as normal (but with a bit more hp than boats) but would never shatter (it'd return you the boat) and would be able to hit shoreline at any speed without issue.
It's not horrifically expensive, but it's enough that, if your boats goes speeding away without you, it'd be a good idea to chase after it. (speaking of that, fix boats so we just appear on top and walk off like we used to instead of landing nearby and sending the boat flying a random direction)
Also make both variants stackable to 16, so if you DO lose a boat, you don't have to plonk down a crafting table and make a new one out of the shards to get moving again.

And that marks one less effective mob trap. I used cactus against zombie pigmen to kill them without pissing them off. >:( I suppose that's another half good half bad thing, as now my dogs won't kill themselves in deserts.
Can't they just make dogs/horses smarter than mobs?

At least I hope that's referring to the way your character spazzes in and out of sprint mode in laggy multiplayer worlds whenever you try to sprint. Parkour in multiplayer = impossible. -

(MC 1.8.8 with Forge forge-1.8.8-11.15.0.1655-universal.jar)
I've tried to get this working for an hour but forge is such complete BS to work with. I've tried modding the regular launcher, and nothing except forge works. I've tried modding with MagicLauncher, and everything crashes. Is it so much to ask for forge to WORK? Just once in my life? I've tried:
-magic launcher, sticking its jar file in like any other mod jar file into the mods list. Game crashes, AnimalBikes still says there's no forge
-modding through the regular launcher, forge works, nothing else does. It seems like every single mod is contained in different mutually exclusive profiles.
-magic launcher again, via the "external mods" section and having forge installed on the client, using the dropdown that says "forge" in it under "environment", now even optifine stops working! AND IT STILL SAYS I DON'T HAVE FORGE!!!!
This is infuriating. I miss this mod intensely but ever since you moved to requiring forge, which has never, ever worked properly even since before minecraft 1.0, I'm stuck without it.
edit: using the forge environment, and animalbikes under mods (even though it says there's no forge, forge is working) I have gotten minecraft to run with them both. I spawned my bike, attempted to mount it....
and crashed.
Somewhere, the developers of Forge are laughing at me.
edit2: After some more fiddling with the default launcher and cutting optifine (farewell FPS....) it is in fact not crashing! It's still really slow and jittery loading in new chunks though, and not really playable. Still, small victories. I am on a dragon.
edit3: As I was cherishing that victory, running in circles spitting out a few apples out of my notch bike, guess what happened?

Well my launcher has taken enough abuse for one day. Going back to optifine only. I really wanted these bikes for quick travel in that huge Drobnovia map, but alas it was not meant to be. Message me if you find any solution to this. :/

That is exactly what I wanted to hear! I do hope the 1.9 compatible version preloaded into a map stays downloadable though, just in case some of my command block mods in my personal "modpack" I wanted to use with it aren't compatible with 1.10 for some reason or another.
I'll be honest the minute I saw structure blocks were being added I immediately jumped to "I can't wait to see what the DYNAMO module can do with this :O"

Fine by me, I love all your maps, big and small. I really do hope you finish Terra Restore 2, as that's one of the big things I want to play once I upgrade to 1.9, but I am more than content with your smaller maps that give you more time to explore unique mechanics like War of Bones and that new chicken based map I've seen some clips of.

The projects other people have come up with involving randomly generated structures like Dynamo http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/minecraft-discussion/redstone-discussion-and/2584067-22-new-naturally-spawning-seed-specific-structures and Tyruswoo's structure generator lead me to think you guys could learn from each other and maybe collab on a project sometime. It seems like, especially with 1.10, the potential of an entire genre of randomly generated structure maps is becoming feasible.

THE COOLEST (puns...) MAP EVER!!!
The first cutscene with the alien leader replayed itself when I logged out and back in later at the camp.
Maybe I just suck but a few more regen potions for the boss fights wouldn't hurt. It's a good thing this map has little to no death penalty, so it was no biggie.
That credits sequence and redstone epilogue man. o_O I remember having my mind blown by Mithey's maps using custom music and cutscenes, but you definitely top him. This feels like a legit game-within-a-game. I was completely immersed.
Maybe Ivaren villain monologued too much? I don't know, it's a charming bit of character I wasn't particularly bothered by that he loves to drone on.
It was just too awesome. All your work paid off, and I can't wait to sink my teeth into the other maps (this was my first).

I just put my base in a really bad spot this time around. I wonder if it has to do with how, the last few times, I took over a generated structure, and this time I made my own. Always keep your most important loot in the ender chest!
The village definitely got a bit cramped over time, so maybe cool down the building generation a bit, as well as it became very hard to keep those villagers alive once I hit around level 7-10 and had this massive city to look over. Maybe make it so iron golems level up as you do, so I could use iron golems to patrol the streets without them getting 1-shot by the uberzombies?
I think the shift of some things, like the ghast event, over to opt-in quests was good, as the map was already plenty hectic trying to balance "I need zombies to spawn to progress" with "I want to keep this village alive because they give me free stuff."

Oddly enough the "big red button" download of their website gave me that instead of the proper version. After some digging, I found a 64 bit version, and Magic Launcher is working again! Thanks!

I was able to manually install optifine using the regular launcher, which works well enough in the meantime, but I still hope to find a solution so I can use magiclauncher again for the sake of other mods.

Even though I couldn't get the resource pack working properly (magic launcher was derping with optifine and I tried using mcpatcher, which didn't really work) I still watched the yogscast play this and have to say it's one of the most epic, cinematic maps I've ever seen.

War Of Bones is the best minecraft map I've ever played.
I am having so much fun with this mechanic that I'm actually going to save some of this map for later.

I temporarily resolved my previous issues (after a lot of failed attempts at getting optifine installed via mcpatcher instead) after I found out you could literally just double click the optifine download and install it instantly.
MagicLauncher is still crashing every time I try to use it, and preventing me from using other mods (I like Animal Bikes...) but for now I can at least play minecraft again. I suspect MagicLauncher is conflicting with the newest version of Java, but there wasn't any way to downgrade it without going through hours of effort and making an entire account on their website. Wasted a whole afternoon...
Just to specify, and I believe I posted this information on the MagicLauncher thread:
-I enter magic launcher
-I attempt to play on version 1.8.8 with OptiFine_1.8.8_HD_U_F3.jar
-minecraft instantly crashes
-this only happens with magic launcher, the regular launcher is fine, which leads me to suspect it's not an issue with optifine itself, but with the launcher. The only thing that's changed recently is my java version, which is why I suspect that.
Please help me resolve this. Optifine doesn't seem to be recognized as a mod by MCPatcher anymore so I can't use that as a workaround to install other mods. I need MagicLauncher!

I'm crashing all of a sudden whenever I open MagicLauncher and try to play the game on 1.8.8, with or without mods. Possibly a conflict with newer versions of Java? I haven't changed versions of minecraft, magiclauncher, or optifine since yesterday when this was working just fine. After some testing I can confirm the same version of minecraft is working in the regular launcher, but I'd miss my optifine.

I might wind up replaying the 1.8 version of pantheon, but for now I'm enjoying watching GOB. I love how, in the first area, the exact same thing happened to them as me: Out of resources, out of hope, ONE ZOMBIE drops ONE CARROT, and from there, with renewable food, progress is finally made out of the endless cycle of death. It's to the point where I think the Breadcrumb of Mercy should be somewhere in that first area as a tribute.

Amazing stuff. I was already going to play the original Dynamo after seeing it on Logdotzip's channel, but now I see another video. is "The Catacombs" WIP right now? Will it be a separate structure from Dynamo?
My plan is to combine it with some One Command modules to get a really good "vanilla modded survival" feel to it. If anyone has tried something like that let me know, I don't know how compatible this and that would be.
Also what do you guys think of the plans of those structure blocks? I know one of the things that got me excited was the prospect of porting this massive module into my worlds rather than having to use the pregenerated world or finally get off my butt and learn how MCEdit works.
