One question though, is there any way to reset a branch completely? Since the arena stopped showing me an objective (kill X mobs) and won't let me further since I won't / can't complete it. (Also, I got lost in the riddles section and would like to start over )
I've heard of the Arena bug twice before but I still can't figure out why that is rarely happening. Sorry. There's not really a way to reset the map. But you could just redownload it and creative the wool you already gained.
I wanna say, this may be on me and my computer, but I was playing the Escape map, and I fell for one of your tricks and died (having three books) and instead of respawning where I should have, I spawned at the beginning of the whole map. Not the Escape map, the whole entire diversity map. I went back to escape, and didn't have the four books I earned, and plus, where you first spawn in Escape where it says "a Gift Below", the first book wasn't there. So therefore I had none of the books because I respawned in the wrong place.. Sorry for the long explanation, but do you know why this happened?
What version did you play? I think that should be fixed in 1.2.9. Every book is reobtainable. The first book was a bit more tricky because it only came back if you presses the Return button. I will check back on that one. You got sent back because you spawn was obstructed - like you were standing on a pressure plate when you hit the button. But I think it should be fixed in the latest version.
Am I supposed to do this? I broke glass and pilled up carpets, I don't know if I said it right but here is a photo of what I'm saying. http://imgur.com/O7bhR89
Oh, I realised, the chest says the name of the records, but you should repair that, I think it's a bug or something like that because i can go to the last test from there
Not a bug, that's the hint. Match the carpet with the record colours.
Whenever i download this map it just comes up as a blank world!
EDIT: WOW i am surpised by my stupidity i un ziped it and did not realize you had to look in the file you got from the zip to get the map. (i know that made no sense but don't worry about it)
uploaded our attempt at the dropper, we kinda cheated a litttllee (teleporting when one of us finished the room and the other was stuck) which makes for bad times :c but we did really enjoy it
Actually, that;s fine because in the latest version (1.2.9) I changed the Dropper so when one finishes it, the other TP with them.
i dont understand how to do the puzzle branch. an instructions button would be nice
Part of the puzzle of doing the Puzzle Branch is figuring out what to do. I won't be adding any instructions but you can always check the original post for hints.
For the sake of not putting up a wall of text, I thought I'd leave my feedback in a spoiler tag. Its mainly small things, but I like to give map makers feedback on my play through.
This was an awesome branch! The Recurring theme of the colors seemed obvious to me, and I was thinking the whole time I needed to memorize it...which I did. The disc clues were well balanced, especially since the same music discs were used throughout. I loved (hated) the slider. It's a classic, easy puzzle, but doable. I cut out 45 minutes out of my episode, because it took me forever (I always hated those), but I liked it.
My one issue with this branch was the riddles. They felt out of place. Those took me as long as other branches (like Labrynthian or adventure). Removing these would have balanced the time these took. If nothing else, cutting out about 5 questions would have been nice. I could have used these in trivia as well, as that was a fast branch for me.
Awesome, well balanced area. Droppers grew progressively harder, which was nice. It felt short to me, but I also think I beat it fairly quickly.
I had no clue what I was supposed to be doing. I was thinking it was more maze-like. If the complex had said something like "Stop looking for a door, there isn't one" or something else, I may have understood.
I think this was my fault as I think I was thinking maze. I was also tired and probably shouldn't have recorded...this was the worst video of my series because I didn't know what I was doing until the last 5 minutes. Once I figured it out, it was great! Nice riddle, and good clues to figuring the way out.
Nice, short area. While I recorded, I didn't understand why the setbacks were there. Watching my footage, my frustration seemed arrogant, as it wasn't so bad to go back when missing questions.
I would have taken the riddles here as well. On the note of riddles, it would be interesting to have 2+ riddles per room, with only one needing to be solved. The Two-ate-for-three riddle would be difficult to solve, but if I had another option of riddles to solve, I may not have been as irritated in the riddles. There could then be a bonus (a lever to open a few doors or armor/weapons to fight upcoming mobs) for solving everything in a room would be interesting.
This was a nice breather in the middle of everything I was doing. The no-danger model was well done, and the adventure was straightforward. It was a bit short for me, but I also just went straight for zombie-king's head without much thought.
This was an awesome idea. The progressive armor was great, and it was well balanced. The open-arena style didn't leave much for strategy but run, which was nice. I would have liked the last room to give me an infinity bow and ghasts, but thats just me.
In the witch room, my sword ran out. A "re-equip" button IN the arena would have been nice. Also, some of the checkpoints make it possible to wear-out armor, without a means of going back and getting it (ex. If your boots wear out, but your last checkpoint warps you to just a chest plate, you are under-equipped).
Overall, well done and balanced.
I hate parkour.
This, however, was nice. I sucked up the ladder parkour section, but the rest I went through at a nice pace.
The level 16 was evil, telling me there was 15 but making 16. I know why you didn't put the pressure plates beneath the last jump, but I would have liked to have them. The dropping out of the map 90 blocks kinda takes a while. Was there a reason this wasn't built at level 5? the drop time would have been halved.
The was a nice area. I breezed through it quickly. I could have done another maze or two myself. The lava maze was a sudden surprise. The markers were a great help.
Have you thought of a 3d puzzle? The design might suck to make, but it would help with difficulty. Just a question.
This was my favorite area!
I spent 90% of it worried about my wood situation, because the tree didn't drop saplings. I was surprised to find out you didn't intend to put a mineshaft under it, because it would be impossible to complete without the wood from there.
Despite the fact this took me forever to do, I didn't care. I spent a lot of time preparing for things that weren't an issue.
My only thing was that I would have liked the option to up the difficulty of the area. I wanted more mob spawns for gunpowder, as I spent a lot of time looking for them. That was more preferential than essential to me.
I was very underwhelmed with this. I expected multiple boss battles, so one wither kinda deflated my balloon. Giving full armor and infinite enchants allows people to get the best enchants if possible. I've fought a lot of withers, so it seemed kidna easy to me.
The iron bars in the corner unintentionally blocked a lot of arrows. Their hit-boxes are larger than the graphic, and that cost me a lot of arrows as I got blasted back, then the arrows got stuck. The wither kept graphically glitching out of the box. Don't know what you could do about that, but I thought I'd bring it up.
I'd like to fight progressively harder bosses, ending at an Ender Dragon.
My feedback in video is kinda in-the-moment aggravation. Sorry about that. I look forward to playing more of your maps, as I had an awesome time. You do need Diversity 2, and I will play it the day it comes out!
Thanks a lot man.
Edit- I loved your monument!
Great feedback. I mostly agree with everything you wrote.
I wanted to have Ghast in the Arena so badly but because of the way they fly and spawner work, it would render the segment impossible.
I am unhappy with Boss Battle. At this point, I'm going to leave that one the way it is. Perhaps in Diversity 2, I will have a much better Boss Battle.
There are also plenty of trees in Survival if you take a boat to another section.
Also the Parkour only does have 15 levels. 16 is over the final section. When you walk under a number, that's the level you're on.
There are many ways I can improve. But I'd rather develop superior branches and create a new map.
This is an amazing map except there is a bug that makes this unplayable!
When I enter certain rooms from the hub such as the Trivia Branch or Escape Branch, the game immediately shuts down and crashes and returns to the Minecraft launcher. Fixing whatever is causing the crash when I enter these certain rooms would be appreciated.
My apologies, but the crash 100% on your end. It's possible this is related to playing a 32bit Java. I'm not sure. Many people have finished the maps with no issues.

You'll find out. Can't tell you because it would ruin the mystery.

Thanks. Glad you enjoyed it.

Many maps aren't compatible with bukkit because bukkit does not allow for decimal placed teleporting.

No you cheated because you broke the glass.

Yeah that's Curse's weird rule.

Just use the Diversity (v1.2.9) folder. The rest are just extra files.

If you curious on how to make that (which I still believe is the best way to make a clock) I have a video on it.
