I did find a mistake, though. In the 'mob display' section, you
have the new parrots on display and the left sign is wrong. It says
'bats ->' and should be 'parrots ->'. The sign on the right is
correct. I did go to the bats and both the signs there are correct
(bats).
Hello Minecrafters.
Though I am not very active in Minecraft anymore - I basically retired from the game, you will be happy to hear I have updated the Test Map to 1.12 and will be releasing is back to you guys soon.
There is quite a bit of work gone into the update. I have added all the new mobs and blocks as usual. I have also fixed all the broken commands from Mojang changes in 1.11
I don't know if this will be my last Minecraft endeavor, but at least you'll be able to see a bunch of Johnny Vindicators take on a Wither.
Firstly I think the structure area is great, especially for the ocean monuments (before with the water it was incredibly hard to actually see the textures without draining the place).
You are missing a couple of items in the inventory/tools area,
The broken Elytra wings, the structure void item, Beetroot seeds, Double Tall grass and the end crystal. I might be wrong, and did not see them
Have you considered applying the 'no sound' tag on the mob displays? Now that you have the sound area it would not prevent people hearing the mobs but also stop them growling in the background of other areas
Keep up this great map! its so useful
I will take a look at what might be missing there. Cheers.
Once again, this is very cool and useful stuff, thanks!
One thing about the mob area... When I'm trying to texture a mob, I need to see it from below and above. Putting them on the floor makes this hard. I don't need multiple copies, I need access above and below.
What I do now is break the floor, though I can't place the block below them, which is an invisible stand, right?
And I don't know if there is any way to make them walk in place or something so I can see motion, but that would also be cool.
Again, with or without changes, I really appreciate the effort.
The multiple mobs are present because of the RandomMobs mod built into MCPatcher.
You could issue commands to see around the mob.
I like your suggestion on having the mob walk. I may add a walking demo for the mobs though.
I'll think about it.
There is an immature chorus plant in the Building Block section.
Are there specifically different textures for growth stages of wheat, beets, carrots, etc? Or are they just smaller images?
Thank you for such a great map! I've only completed Puzzle and Dropper so far, but it's been a blast.
I am stuck on Escape:
After wandering in circles for hours, I found a youtube video where they renamed a paper ESCAPE and put it in the dispenser. The problem is the anvil won't let me rename the paper because I don't have the required levels (5). I am playing on 1.7.4. I was careful to never look at the menu, in case it would change the difficulty. Then I did try changing the difficulty to peaceful or easy, but that didn't help. Am I missing something?
Edit: I got around the bug by cheating. Perhaps this will help other people stuck on Escape:
Esc -> Open game to LAN and check Enable Cheats. Then change gamemode to creative (t to open console, then type /gamemode 1) and rename the paper, then change it back. (/gamemode 0)
Every time you enter that room, you get 101 levels
Is any version of Diversity compatible with snapshots? I ask because Minecraft is in black and white, and is so slow, stop responding so much. I can only play Betas, Alphas and Snapshots, so I cant play Diversity without a version compatible with Snapshots. And other question, is Diversity 2 compatible with all the 1.8 versions? (This time I ask to use it in 1.8.2 Prerelease 7, I can play it too)
I don't know. You could try it. I know Diversity doesn't work properly with 1.7.9 and 1.6. Diversity 2 should work with all 1.8 versions but I'm entirely sure.

It's been ongoing since Jan 2013.

Map is made in 1.7.
Iron is not a hostile mob drop.
Coordinates are not off by one.
Coordinates are found in the brackets.
See hints on first page for more help.

I have updated this map for 1.10. I have also included info for people who are looking for older versions of the map.
Enjoy.

Try it in single player and see if you get the same problem.
