    I'm happy for the natural spawn being worked on, but Guard specific target and Wandering npc interact option, what do you mean by those?

    In that case, you put the bow in ammunition slot. There's really no way to make them switch in between weapons. You should put the arrows in the slot you put the bow, and then maybe put the bow in it's left hand.

    I Tried it out, but what i meant by that was them actually equipping the bow and firing arrows, not throwing the bow at them.

    I know you're a busy person and all and are already trying to add other things to your mod, but I just wanted to give you a suggestion/idea:

    BOSSES ROLE:


    Has option so when NPC reaches a certain health it switches it style, does more damage, or uses different weapons or skills (This can be used multiple times on a single NPC). Examples would be:

    -- When a boss reaches half health his resistance changes becoming stronger against arrows, when originally he was weak against them.

    -- Switches to a bow when the boss reaches 1/4 health and then fires faster when he has only 1/8 left.

    -- Uses different skills, and the chance of being used is upped or lowered.


    A new skill system that gives bosses more depth instead of shooting you with projectiles and smacking you with weapons (also a warning system can be implemented to gives notice to a player that a skill is going to be used/casted). Some examples would be:

    -- Thunder Storm: Lightning strikes down in a certain area (Damage, effects, radius, accuracy, and range are all customize able). If warning option was added, the NPC can either say it, or particles maybe build up the certain area he is attacking.

    -- Ice Spear: Blocks of Ice float above the NPC's head, as the skill builds up more ice appears. The blocks of ice and blue and white particles then fly towards targeted position placing a large spike of ice wherever it hits and giving everything slowness. (Damage, slowness, accuracy, and range are all customize able).

    -- Black Hole: Black particles swarm around the boss and entities start being towards him, getting damage when they're right next to him. After a few second the black hole "explodes" launching everything away from the boss. (Damage, effect, strength, and range are all customize able).

    -- Meteor Strike: Fireballs rain down from the sky raining upon its target, setting ablaze everything it hits (Damage, effect, accuracy, explosiveness, and range are all customize able).

    These are just some examples that I came up with to give you an idea what I'm talking about. Also each skill would have a chance of being used which also can be customized. Not to mention that the skills don't have to be all offensive, there could be ones that change weather, teleports boss or player, ect.



    Good ideas! :D, but i wanted to add one more ability


    Minion Rage: The boss goes up into the air and summons minions of any type. He then stays in the air and tries to hit you with his other abilities.
    (All of this stuff can be configurable, Time in air, Minions summoned per sec, Minion Mob Type, etc.)

    Hey Noppes, im not rushing you, but heres some ideas:



    You should add to where if any type of npc has a bow and a sword equipped, if your close, they use the sword. if your like 5 blocks away, they go for the bow. Another idea: When someone is a follower, it should allow them to follow and attack enemies while following. One more. For an Iron golem NPC, it should allow them to: Walk like an Iron golem not like a player. when attacking, they actually do the arm animation and send enemies in the air.





    These are just some ideas Noppes! :)

    Noppes, i know im late. But what i meant by old mob AI was: Mobs turning their head, but not heir body with it. Look at PopularMMos crafting dead series (With Jen) The Disguised man had the old mob AI, then the npc actually was looking at them. So could you possibly add that Noppes?

    i dont know about the beta seed but for 1.8 it was on the customized world type. All i did was set dungeon count to 100. i guess for beta i was just lucky.

    Oh and Noppes, can you change the natural spawn to make it be more specific? I want to make the mobs i natural spawn not in a full group just single. make the group thing optional. Secondly, you should make places where you want them to spawn (etc, Jungle Temples). So yeah Noppes can you do that on 1.7.10?

    Sorry if i was being disrespectful Noppes, I was just asking if it was possible to give the npcs old mob AI for MC version 1.2.5. Like when the zombies and other mobs were stupid to the point they fall of cliffs that can kill them etc. So sorry! :(
