Why Us: Dragons, Skyrim-based. These are 2 things I have yet to see in a server. I have seen this mentioned in many places, and I want to find out why this is a server that everyone loves.

*Dolenaear's friend charges forward with his short-sword, managing to kill one of the many bandits he saw on the side of the road, then gets knocked out by a club*
Dolenaear: I knew that was going to happen. Hey! Give me my friend back!
Bandit: You'll need to put up a better fight than that, boy.
*The bandit charges at Dolenaear, attempting to hit his head*
Dolenaear: This'll be quick
*Dolenaear dodges the bandit as the bandit clumsily face-plants onto the ground*
Dolenaear: I thought bandits were meant to get smarter.
*The bandit, with his face thickly covered in mud, called to his comrades, "Get him!" and as you expect, they ran straight after Dolenaear, who managed to run back to Whiterun*
Backstory (1-2 LONG paragraphs): Dolenaear, as you might expect, was born in the province of Valenwood. His father was a hunter and his mother a healer. His father was one of the best hunters in his village, a hard achievement to make to. His mother was also one of the best healers in his village. She could use alchemy to create potions that could heal internal wounds amazingly quickly. From a very young age, he was taught to use the bow from his father and learnt a little bit about basic alchemy. He also learnt to read and write his own language and learnt to speak Nordic.
After Dolenaear's first year of hunting(Around 10 years old at this time) He learnt well of the bow and he could take down a deer on his own and by 15 he knew how to shoot so well that he managed to get a job as a guard for a year because his father was getting very old and couldn't go on large hunting trips, resulting in a low amount of coin to work with. When he was 18, his village was razed by alot of bandits. Dolenaear and his family managed to escape alive but everything except his and his father's bow and the clothes on their back were destroyed. They decided to trek to Skyrim, as they heard that it was alot safer there...
For people to even TRY joining you must:
Make an intro - The longer the intro, the more exciting it is
Make a list of features - What is so special about the server? Is it Vanilla? Bukkit? Is it 24/7?
Make a staff list - Credibility always helps and having it tells people that you spend your time complimenting them
Put some pics in - Like they always say: No pics, no clicks. Having something very close to no pictures can make it uninteresting
Preferably not have Hamachi - Not everyone has Hamachi, some people don't want to use it either. Spend some time in learning how to port forward your router and it will attract more people
Not have caps everywhere - Use the size tools in the editor. It makes it look a bit more professional than spamming them
For people to stay in your server you must:
Make it interesting - The more stuff the players can do, the better.
Have good admins, mods - If they're bad, people will most likely leave as soon as they know it.
Anyways, back on topic. I seriously would enjoy working with you on your server, but I don't feel fine being bound to an agreement that could limit my freedom and enjoyment later on.
Although if you want to see some pictures of what I have done then I certainly don't mind posting some.

Truth being, I disagree with the base reasoning behind the service they provide, the unethical way they do business, the treatment of their members, and the uneducated dimwits who provide such a service. Such people wouldn't last a day in my world, and I refuse to associate with anything that is run by such corrupt individuals. If you would like I can show you a few sources proving how corrupt the site and it's owners actually is.
Oh, and try not to guess around me. The idea behind your server is fantastic, but your attitude towards individuals you have never met is horrendous. The very fact that you drew that conclusion based on my response to your support of such a site proves so.
The only reason I check MCbans is to check popular servers and see if the person applying have been banned for grief before in any of them IF they say that they haven't been banned before. If you really don't want to join in, then you don't join in. There's nothing much more that I can do about it.
I was pretty excited about this until you brought up mcbans. I refuse to even be associated with such a vulgar service.

I'm fairly active and as soon as I get back home from the holiday I'm on I can spend up to 10 hours a day!

The only reason I check MCbans is to check popular servers and see if the person applying have been banned for grief before in any of them IF they say that they haven't been banned before. If you really don't want to join in, then you don't join in. There's nothing much more that I can do about it.
