    secret? not really, more of an easter egg than anything really. its just a mob that doesn't do much of anything... similar to an early villager mob.

    its also my avatar if anyone is interested in what it looks like :/.

    So I did get a chance to speak with Digidigi. I mentioned that there is interest in further development of Magitek Mechs either by a person or possibly even chocobocraft. At first it sounded like he might patch it or update it. but after he went through the code he decided it may be a pain to pick back up.

    He is considering releasing the source but I'm not sure when he will do it and if it will be public or not. I do know that he was working on some interesting ideas to expand Magitek Mechs. I'm just not sure how far along he got.

    One of his ideas was to have TunnelArmor. (A ridable mech that digs tunnels thru earth and rock!) It made an appearance in FF6 as well.

    Personally I think the way Digidigi was handling the mod was brilliant and I would hate for it to be resurrected and then not work right or not at all :<
    I've never really written a piece of code myself but like a drawing or painting, I'm sure its difficult to just give it away to let somebody else tinker with.

    I'll try to get more info if I can.

    The Author is my brother, I keep in contact with him and I'm pretty sure he is finished with this mod. As for taking it over, I could ask him what he thinks about it and have him post here in a few days. It would be cool to see somebody take this over or add it to chococraft.

    Everyone seems to have some pretty neat ideas to take digis mod a bit further. I'm not 100 percent sure on the direction he plans on taking this mod but from what he told me last, he's pretty much done with it. well... maybe.

    with that being said, and without spoiling to much, I am aware that he's been working on a mining version of a mech that was a boss encounter in final fantasy 6. I've seen the model he's been working on and well... oh my gawd! I hope he finishes it.

    I know how much time and effort goes into making a mod that is this complex and as a side effect its wearing on him a bit. I'm sure he will finish it eventually, but if not, its still definately one of the finest gems you can find on the mod wips page.

    I mentioned the bio blaster to him as well, and it had crossed his mind along with a few other spells and attacks as seen in the game, how ever, the amount of programming it must take to make the pretty effects must be pretty challenging. he threw an xzone comment at me once and I was like "yes please! :D" but, its probably more like the series title implys, just a fantasy.

    I hope I haven't stepped on your toes brother, I'm just really impressed with your work and wanted to share with everyone that you continue working on this. I'm just really excited and impressed by it. ttyl bro.

    both 1.6.2 and 1.6.4 work perfectly.

    looks like you dismount with left shift and firebeam is now "c"

    Great job digidigi! by far the best mech mod out there!
