How do I open iron doors? I spawn them in my inventory, replace my wood doors with them, but the pressure plates and the switches don't activate them

I can't use it with blocklauncher.
I try to find it under my download folder and I don't get anything.
Anybody know a way to shift my files around to use the mod?
