When I download this mod and try to start up minecraft the game crashes instantly. Does this happen with anyone else? This only happens with this mod because I have others and they work fine. I tried everything to try to make it work like deleting the other mods because I thought maybe it wasn't compatible but still crashed. I really want to play this mod so any suggestions?
This mod is awesome! I like that the dogs spawn in packs of assorted breeds, which aren't tied to specific biomes. I think there should be a dog crate item that you can right-click a tamed dog with and it will put the dog inside the crate, which you can carry in your inventory. It could work pretty much the same way as pet amulets in Mo' Creatures. Sometimes I go very far away from home to search for dogs, and it can be kind of annoying having to drag them all the way back. As for breeds, I would love to see collies and Australian shepherds added.
Also, from what I've noticed, the dogs aren't very good at swimming. Most, once pushed further down in the water, can't swim back up, and some just sink like stones. I've seen a poodle lay down in 1-block deep water and drown. This can make it annoying when bringing dogs across large bodies of water. Can you make it so the dogs try harder to stay up at the top of the water?
Overall, I love this mod. It's my favorite of all the dog mods I've ever tried. I'd love to see more Style mods in the future.
I would like to report a weird bug. My WildWolves don't have any teeth. I am using 6.2.1. A mod list is probably not needed, but anyway:
