Sounds like the wire/jack is damaged. Unless you know how to solder and have a spare lying around and know how to replace the entire wire, there is no fix, no.
Going to have to resolder the cables to the connector. It sounds like the solder between the AUX and the cables is dying. Could be wrong.

All right, I don't have a soldering gun, or at least one that wasn't owned by my grandfather and is so old it won't actually melt solder. The actual wire is removable from the back of the speaker, its not soldered in.
I will have to order a new set then. And for those who didn't know, Aces High sounds terrible without bass. As does Highway to hell.
I have a new thing to open up and **** around with though, that is always a fun time.
I learned a bit about circuitry (or I was supposed to have) in High School. It was an elective course, though. (Tech) Pretty awesome course though- lot's of building and hands-on stuff. We built planes out of balsa wood and paper and tried to see who was able to make them fly the farthest. Of course my partner decided the best way to do that was to throw it as hard as possible so most of our trials meant the fuselage hurtling through the air when the wings ripped off. Another one was building a car/truck, but we never got around to the part where we had the contest. The idea was the vehicle would be propelled by a bottle-rocket, and it had to "work admirably" being sent down a long straightaway of road that was on the school grounds. Presumably if it didn't explode you got an A.
The relevant electronics project was oddly humble compared to everything else- make a light blink. That's it. It was more involved than the other projects, in some ways. We first had to figure out how to do it with a breadboard- once we had that working, we had the go-ahead to mark the traces on a piece of silicon (or rather, mark everything <except> the traces) using a marker. That would get stuck in a acid solution for a few days, and when it was finished we could clean off the marker and be left with the traces, then we soldered on all the required components. I think that was a project that everybody had to do on their own. We did learn about electronics, though I'm not sure if we covered everything there.
(Come to think of it, my Science courses covered a lot of electricity concepts like resistors as well...)
That sounds awesome. One of my electives is "Exploring Technology" but it appeared on the pamphlet to be mostly about computers. I guess I will have to wait and see if it actually teaches anything other than Microsoft Office. It mentioned "A+ Certification" which from what I have read on this forum I believe it is pretty useless but at my age I don't need to be concerned about having enough things for my nonexistent resume. But I digress, I digress a lot.
So when I plugged in my speakers after a minute of them being on all the bass just stopped entirely, and its all treble. When I move the AUX plug around it will work for a second put I can't keep it in the right position. I am having this problem with every audio jack.
I'm assuming my speakers are dying (they are old as hell and they aren't anything expensive) but I was wondering if there was a fix for this. The same thing happened to a pair of headphones I had awhile back on a different computer and my USB headset is acting up so I am kind of screwed, these speakers are my last hope for any sort of audio. I don't really have any other device I could use to check if it is my sound card (I doubt it is my sound card).
You don't need more than 8GB of RAM, not that having more is a bad thing, its just wasted. You will need a second hard drive to record videos to. It isn't really the best option from the looks of it but it will do O.K.
When it says it has no ports it had one d-subminiature which I would assume is a VGA (the blue cable). It looks like a very good monitor to me, especially for the price.
Off topic but to your signature we learn both at our school. ;D
Lucky ******* :/
Going through random internet articles is a pain, you keep having to go back an forth through links and every component seems to interlap. I wish I just had an organized guide. But I am getting off topic.
That's a pretty cool feature, but I don't go Incognito very often and don't need to. I could always delete my history should I want to. I do like the little spy in the upper left comer though, makes me feel like a badass.

Or watch an anime. Another is a very good anime.

Well that is quite silly.

I don't get it.

Bastion. You must play Bastion. Its like 10 bucks for an 8-10 hour game. That's only if you do one play through

Okay, I don't need good sound quality for. That's what my headphones (that I am about to RMA because the mic cuts out constantly) are for.
On a side note, it appears to me that all speakers are are a coil of wire around a magnet.

I usually use my speakers about twice a month, I wasn't planning on spending more than $20.
But that leads to the next question, what is a good pair of speakers for $20 or less?

Anyway, I personally loved Bastion, Dungeons of Dredmor is always fun and Farcry 2 was good. Both Portals were very good.

Oh okay. So like a certification?
That makes a sense.
