Is anyone actively working on mod support for Isabella II? I'm currently using the 1.7.10 release from the FTB forum, but I'm wondering if there's anyone else that's actively doing it as it's rather uncertain whether the individual from FTB is willing to add support for other mods. I've been using Isabella as my main texture pack since before it became Isabella II, I have no plans to abandon it if it starts to become outdated but it is nice to have synergy between different mods. There tends to be a rather jarring difference in value between Isabella and Vanilla textures.

I just realised that this says map, not mod. I initially misread it as mod seeing as it's under Mod Packs.. that is the most roundabout way of saying "No, you cannot use x in a mod pack." that I've ever seen. If Railcraft's license is overly complicated, this would be overly subtle. The heck is a map pack? Distributing redstone builds? Glad I noticed a week in rather than a year from now.
Edit: Woah, wait a sec. License section 6 from Github:
6. Distribution of original or modified Mod
By default this Mod may only be distributed on its own by the Developers.
It may be included in a mod pack with other mods, as long as it is
(a)non-profit and (b)legal. URL shorteners or other attempts to make money is
strictly forbidden without advance written permission.
A User is allowed to freely copy and distribute the API files found under the
API package or from a separate download, so long as it is not edited in any way.
Was there a typo? If so I'd understand not touching it, MCF can really kill a post if you try to edit it.

I'm feeling really stupid right now and I need to ask for your help. I'm trying to craft my first spell. Just a basic fire projectile, nothing special. I unlocked the necessary parts (projectile/fireDamage) and I made my quill book thing, it's sitting in there as an unfinished spell recipe but I can't drag the fire damage component down next to the projectile square.
Every tutorial I've found breaks down at this point because the component isn't supposed to do nothing and disappear when I try dragging it into the crafting area.
EDIT: The components go in a completely separate area below the brown boxes. Crafting is split horizontally and none of the tutorials are from after this design change. It's in a small section of the compendium which I hate using. My fault.

I love that you're still the same as before Azanor. I took a break from minecraft a few years ago and thaumcraft was one of those mods whose developer was a thoroughly enjoyable phenomenon, your interactions and interjections into the discussions of your users made Thaumcraft a very fond addition to my world. I hope you feel pride that it was the first mod I downloaded after buying minecraft again and figuring out how modding had changed since I left.
Do they still do the worship thing?

Hello Azanor, I'm here to report the long-standing font issue, which still exists in Thaumcraft 5:
If a player is playing the Minecraft in Unicode Font mode, with screen size less than 960 pixels in height, all text with small font in TC will be illegible (as shown above).
It will bring bad game experience to international users (We need Unicode Font!), so, could you please fix it? I suggest all text should has the OpenGL scale ratio no less than 1.0

Can I get a hell yeah? I like your thinking. However, it may be confusing to those on mutliplayer relying on beacons to find their mining spots(just as an example. If a server has a resource world it's not unlikely that people will throw down temporary buffs to speed up mining). It's a good idea for SP, I think that it may be good to have a simpler, less intrusive visual (Like a dot-thing that can be seen through blocks? Even just the text would be good) as an option. I would definitely want the beacon-esque option for single player to mark major landmarks.
it's all optional, you can disable the beacon, the text note and the distance in the general options.
and the color of the beacon beam is the same as the marker color to keep them apart

It's been a very long time since I studied statistics, but from my glance at the code, the distributions are all normal to begin with (IIRC that is a property of the RNG that is passed by Forge and Vanilla Minecraft). Cinnabar is generated in the bottom 20% of a world, up to 18 times per chunk. Amber is generated up to 20 times per chunk within 25 blocks of the local surface. Infused stone is generated up to eight times per chunk between bedrock and five block between the local surface.
When I say "to begin with" and "up to" that is because generated is aborted if there is already something present in the location selected. So if some other ore is generated on an inverse normal curve in the lowest 20% of a world, cinnabar would actually en up being distributed on a normal curve. Mean and variance thus also depend on other ore generation, caves, etc.
You can read the code yourself if you need more details.
