    I found that github, too, I don't think this is the official continuation. That was the main reason I posted here: you can't find anything tangible on google. I found that, found some reddid which said that it isn't the right one, another reddit that kinglemming is working on it and supposedly it's for 1.14,


    Maybe most information is here: https://www.reddit.com/user/KingLemming/ which sounds like: stuff is really hard to port beyond 1.12, maybe after other Thermal stuff is ported TC can be done...

    The infusion altar itself is made from regular stone, I just replaced the pedestals around it. They did reduce the instability and are able to hold items, but, now that I think of it, I think I didn't actually try using them for crafting...

    It really isn't much.


    I incorporated some stuff of other mods I use, mostly somewhat rare stuff. You can hold an item in your hand and use "/mt hand" to get the code for it if you want to change them.

    I just picked an island and decided to do all the destructive taint-generating there. Currently, it has no rifts, but the taint there doesn't go away. I don't know how, but it keeps spawning taint seeds, and I see no way of getting rid of them all. It also keeps creeping into the bunker, despite it having 2-block thick obsidian walls. Taint doesn't destroy obsidian, but it still covers it. The normal stone around it has been completely converted to either tainted rock or porous stone.


    I suspect that tainted rock can spawn fibrous taint, and that can in turn evolve into taint seeds. Maybe closing off all empty spaces around the bunker can fix it, but currently I see no way of getting rid of the infection there.


    TL;DR current taint isn't that harmless.

    That thing only needs void metal, no primal pearls, IIRC, so yes. And I definitely researched all 5 on my survival server, though the others need the pearl to actually craft. Which you can't obtain. At least I haven't found any way.

    There is eldrich research now at least. That is, the tab exists and can be unlocked. There isn't much there, though. And from what is, some can't be crafted (I think)

    Thaumcraft is no longer being developed for 1.10. You might consider upgrading to 1.12.

    Have you tried it in a non-vanilla workbench? Or, do you have a mod which changes the vanilla workbench?

    I suspect it would only work in a vanilla one. Or in the arcane crafting table. Try cheating yourself an arcane crafting table and see if it works there.

    Damn.

    In cause I'm not the last one to notice it: stabilizers crash the server and prevent it from starting if directed at a rift. DO NOT try to stabilize a rift. Use the cheat sponge to get rid of it until it's fixed.


    Let's see if I can mcedit it away...
