    Literally tested after each installation prior to minefactory to see if MC was working. And it was, until I tried to install Minefactory. Anything I can do?

    Just checked the BC website, seems it's just an API Problem, sorry

    In the meantime, you can delete the BC API that comes with MFR "buildcraft" folder inside the zip) to fix this. That folder is only necessary for people using MFR without BC installed at all.

    Whoops, that's actually a bug! I accidentally bound the hammer to the steel ingot specifically instead of the ingot that comes from the ore dictionary. Meantime I'd just cheat yourself a hammer (and throw away the three refined iron if you want) since it's a pretty low-cost item anyway.

    Yes. You can even use the fertilizer with it on the surface so you don't need to go the nether.

    Load order hell, looks like - try putting power converters directly into your server jar. Then try adding IC2 and/or BC in there until it shuts up. Yes this is stupid, I can't fix it.

    I have the Technic Pack installed with contains this cool mod. However, I've managed to mine some Nether Tin Ore that is A: Not smeltable, B: Not stackable. I am trying to smelt it in a normal furnace, no worries.

    This ain't a big issue for me, I can chuck the block away in the end. But I thought I'd best mention it. Honestly my guess is that I mined it while it was in it's "about to explode" state? That's my only shot in the dark

    I uh.. have no idea. I've seen that happen very rarely with vanilla items, I suspect it's a bug with minecraft itself.

    It sounds like the issues are primarily with RP2 - I'm not sure what went wrong on your first try, but RP2 not being placeable could be a badly installed Forge as it requires a lot of advanced stuff. I'm not sure I can help you further, sadly.

    Ok. PowerConverters for 1.0.0 is out. I have done very minimal testing on this due to my lack of time but I did verify that it worked without crashing horribly. I can't offer guarantees about SMP given how buggy IC2 apparently is. If you run into problems let me know!

    Try making sure that the rancher is one block above the ground the cows are standing on (so like level with the fence) - it only searches a certain distance upwards and cows being fairly tall may be outside the search area.

    Direwolf20's video (see OP) is one way. What I do is put a block next to the fisher and then lay redstone dust on top of that block and then on top of the fisher - you have to target the side of the dust on the adjacent block, but it can be done.

    I changed Block ID.Machine.block=124 in cfg file but the error persists.

    I cannot find any ID 124 in the Buildcraft config. Is this not a block ID conflict?

    It doesn't crash the server yet. Does that mean it's been auto-resolved?

    How might I fix this?

    "CONFLICT @ ####" means that somebody (spacetoad) didn't set up an ItemBlock in the appropriate way. It'll still work just fine, it'll just put that in the console every time the game loads.

    The ranchers are connected to the power plant to the top right. They receive power from a branch of the main grid. The Fertilizer also gets the power of a Branch.

    It was still working just fine. Nothing odd to report in my eyes.

    Im not sure what could be the cause here. Maybe its how the pipes connects to each machine.

    Well that's... baffling. MFR 1.5 (or 2.0 if I decide to just do a major rev bump due to all the internal changes) will have a fairly heavily reworked power consumption system so maybe it'll fix itself. I can dream anyway.

    Something I should have done long ago-

    Conveyor belts will now (in the next version) place items in inventories (chests, furnaces, etc) located at the end of a belt. Just aim them directly at the thing and you're set.


    Also somewhere along the lines I made it so you can't even sidestep off of a conveyor now. Not sure when that happened but I'm leaving that in because it's hilarious.
