It is especially terrible when you have your volume all the way up, and even worse when your volume is up and you are in a library. I wish he'd just post a link with a picture rather than embed videos in his posts every time. First of all... Microsoft hates Java. But Minecraft is written in Java and uses Java and the modders and developers know Java to mod Minecraft. What will Microsoft do? Java is important for Minecraft, and Minecraft is very important for Java. Oracle even advertises Minecraft on the Java website. If anything, Minecraft would fit better in Oracle than Microsoft...
They'd have to keep using Java. I suppose it's not a big deal for them. They bought Minecraft for the playerbase so they probably don't care what it is written in. -

Minecraft is not like diablo 3 in the way that you must be connected to their servers to play so we could still play it. And for the updates, if minecraft does not have updates then mod authors will not have to concentrate on making the mod for a new version. Instead they will put their time into bug fixes and performance enhancing. By this I want to say that even if microsoft totally screws up they cannot take minecraft from us. Worst they could do is change the license so that mods would be illegal but like that would stop us...
What's good for modders is also good for hackers. The longer it takes to release a new update, the more hackers you have. Updates get rid of all the hacks for a while, especially the updates that rewrite large chunks of code. If you have updates often enough, you can even get rid of the hacked client developers who give up. -

What confuses me is that the Wall street Journal article says Mojang has routinely turned down buy-out attempts. These attempts were never on the news...? It seems like Mojang has actually accepted Microsoft because it went this far. -

They are (attempting) buying the company not only the game
Even if they did only buy the game, 95% of Mojang would be gone, beacuse Mojang is mostly Minecraft. Without Minecraft, Mojang is barely anything. -

Java 7 or 8 makes no difference for Minecraft whatsoever unless one of the mods require features in 7 or 8. Minecraft itself makes no use of the features in 7 and 8.

If your machine does have that chip, then you will not be able to play Minecraft 1.7.4 or later. The latest you can play is 1.7.2.
If it's a desktop machine with PCI slots, then you can install/replace the graphics card. If it's a laptop then you are out of luck.

Is this a pink sheep or purple sheep? Looks like a purple sheep. It can only be a player colored it.
Or maybe a zombie pigman's values got corrupted somehow and turned it into a purple sheep. I suppose it's possible.

If you link them up then it counts as one server and violates the EULA. The other server needs to be completely separate, requiring players to log out to the multiplayer list and select the server.
