See, this is the reason you can't make such display. There are ways to make so that 1 block is 1 pixel, but they are too complicated. What they meant by 2x2 is having a 2x2 blocks square represent 1 pixel, so, for example, if your display is 8 long by 8 high, it only has 16 pixels, not 64.
Ah. However complex it is is fine. What is the soultion - ?

If you want to pass a signal through the gold block, I don't think you can with your setup. However, if you simply want it to receive power... Then try a repeater beside the diamond, a block above and behind the repeater on the grey wool. Have a block between the gold block and the repeater.
Where is the gold block, :-( ): is a repeater and is any solid block. To power the grey, send a wire to the lower left from the direction we're looking.
Ah... no I tryed this - the block neads to not just be powered, but to transpher the power.
The block is holding the redstone torch - that torch powers a redstone lamp -
so the gray block as well is holding a torch - the torch powers a redstone lamp-
so both blocks have to get power to them to be able to turn on or off the redstone lamp in front.
You cant pass power though 2 blocks.
So the above is not functional for what I'm doing.
I'm not sure what 1x1 and 2x2 is refering to above... I am wanting to wire up a "screen" type display where I can turn on or off every redstone lamp via wiring - I've done this allready for a number screen that can show zero though nine - but there were two blocks I simply could not power - but for that device it did not matter since you never use those two blocks.
This is far larger of a screen and thus , more complex.
So, from the picture above , you see the redstone lamps are powering the "Screen" in front.
Mar 24, 2013I think I understand now what you are asking for.Posted in: Redstone Discussion and Mechanisms
You want a pressure plate, that when steped on - will rase a Crafting Table.
Then when same pressure plate is again pressed, the Crafting table will go away, hidden under (cobblestone)

Are playing on single player or any sort of lan game ? I had same problems on lan games bcs your ping is messing with timing of elevator.
I've "solved" this issue with command blocks to just tp me. But I'd still like to fix this problem
Feb 26, 2013On the boardgamegeek fourms I posted my first map of Talsman: http://boardgamegeek.com/thread/798886/minecrafted-talsman-board/new since then I updated with all the large expantions of the game, the dungon, the dragon relm, the highlands and the city. I was really happy to have my map hosted by http://www.talismanisland.com/ , you can find that download here (among others)Posted in: Creative Mode
direct link is: http://www.talismanisland.com/mc_talisman_to_city.zip
My reasion for posting this here is because I wanted to make sure that this is seen by minecrafters who, might like Talsman game or because of my constuction be inspired to play or make there own fav board game in minecraft.
Feb 26, 2013Hello. I've built several piston elevators based on youtube videos, following them exactly. I do not have java 64 bit but I do have java 7 if such things matter, I am using windows 7 on a laptop computer, again not sure if any of that matters. I am using version 1.4.7 of minecraft. The pistons push me up then glitch as I get "stuck" inside of other pistons. It does not seem that things are working as it should.Posted in: Redstone Discussion and Mechanisms
I've built horrad astrostiys of mankind to push me up, then left, then up, then left, up, etc or in strange directions to get me "up" as piston elevators that push pistons out, then up, do not seem to be doing what they should do for me.
I made a simple piston push stars into me and my player did not rase up onto those stairs - is this how that should function?
I am totaly out of ideas to what is wrong with pistons or delays or the universe of minecraft that denys me the ablity to make an elevator that pushs me up.
Water elevator did work, but the boat is to unwealdy to control and too darn slow.
Going "down" I made a simple timed drop thingy that works, I guess, but it would be nice to have something better.
Thank you whoever you are for reading, helping, linking to videos and/or whatever else you do to help me make a bleeping elevator that works.

I think large bee would B nice. It would be a little smaller then the sheep, and fly. It would produce honey (food item) and this food item if stacked in a crafting table makes a honey comb (a building block!) Hives (lots of honey comb blocks) would be produced in some parts where there are lots of flowers. Bees are peaceful unless attacked then all of them attack you (like pigmen) queen bee would be the hardest to kill and could drop queen larva that would B a useful item in potion making. Although I do not know what that potion would B.
