I despise the new planks, someone should make a mod to disable them. Seriously it's gonna screw up my architecture. Oh, you used a birch tree farm to build your house with the old planks? Too bad. Texture pack? Still won't stack together. Oak farm? They grow and break things like glass panes. Which, I might add, are an extremely nonrenewable part of my tree farm. Plus they grow slower and smaller.
Wait, what? My login problem is fixed? Sweet.
Survival is still devastated. Screw mojang, they think "oh this will be cool" but they don't think of how it disrupts the games of longtime players.
The sandstone and bug fixes are a nice touch though. I think this update maybe has enough merit to raise itself into the "not quite crap" category.

You know, I find it funny that when people quote that particular post of mine, it only shows up in the email as having quoted the last line.
This system isn't broken at all...

Erm, no... I tend not to PM people much. Plus it's already posted here, and I don't know what else would go into a PM that I haven't already said.
Also I checked just now, and in fact I had not set the license to creative commons (because if I had it would just be crying out for someone to do something like this.) But it wasn't and I have NEVER used it even accidentally.

Does this mean I need to give proof that I was the original creator? I can, I just need some notice to do so.

I'm no expert but...what's stopping you from buying a new card, or a replacement fan?
If you can't, does mcedit still work? Maybe you could finish your entry that way.

EDIT: What did I tell you. I don't know how to correct this, it seems to keep re-adding them.

meh that may be the case, the end is cool but the hardest one to actually live in. And it's not balanced by any useful or interesting resources. ("Ooh, white cobblestone" TEXTURE PACK)

The end is an option?
You are not a true minecraft player if you think the end could possibly be anyone's favorite realm. Sad but true.
I have to say the real world because if you want to live in the nether you have to bring most resources with you and keep going back if you run out of, say, iron, and it's not even possible to legitimately build a cobble generator there.
Edit: Lol "real world" they're all equally real. I meant earth.

This is why there are screenshots.

My solution is to only use mobs with unusual shapes (*cough* spiders *cough*) make the spawning area not accommodate tall mobs, and light up everywhere except the spawners so creepers cannot spawn at all.

You are correct. Don't tell me the link isn't in the op? If not it's here.

Oh right, I forgot you ever saw the mine ;D

2 story?
4 difficulty?
Huh?
Thought it would be 3-4 story and 1 for difficulty (I like maps harder than most)
BTW the f in my name isn't supposed to be capitalized. Just saying.

I will keep this in mind

1. Will they spawn in old worlds once the 1.2 update is fully released?
2. If not, is there any way to change the level.dat so they will generate in old worlds?

Thought of using a workbench? It's got the planks texture on the bottom, admittedly, but that would be facing the ground, yes?
