That's a problem with the content pack your using. You can fix it by opening the pack and moving the textures folder into the assets folder, and then into the flansmod folder inside that.
Drones, yes that's right, drones. Now. It came to my attention that the Modern weapons pack had great guns in it. But no drones, or for even that case.
You mean drones that militaries actually uses today? Not to stereotype, but I imagine you got that idea from CoD. In reality, the only drones used by militaries are UAV bomber planes and small unarmed scouting bots. The closest thing to a portable combat drone used are drones carrying shotguns designed to break down doors. That would probably make for a pretty boring content pack.
I'm waiting long for one custom packs of vehicles for 1.6.2
You can manually update a content pack to work with Flan's mod. I explained how a few pages back.
Also, I was just updating my content packs, and here's a tip: to update a content pack from 1.5 to 1.6, just rename sounds to sound, create a folder named assets, create a folder called flansmod inside assets, and move armor, gui, skins, sound, and textures into the flansmod folder.
I forgot to mention it, but as kirby pointed out, you also have to put the "co" folder in the main content pack folder, as well as the planes and cars folders.
I have a question...is all the content packs for flans compatible with each other?
Specifically the modern warfare 3 weapons with the manus stan's vechicle pack.
Not always. Just like the items in vanilla minecraft, they use IDs. If two packs have items with the same IDs, they'll be incompatible. However, you can open the text file for an item and change the ID to something that isn't being used if you know how Flan's mod works.

The sights are now black silhouettes on any and all weapons. Any idea why this is happening? Also, I just want to complain again about the ADS key being locked to LMB.
If someone is going out of their way to cuss someone out by using unicode or v's instead of u's then they fall into the category of griefing.
Oftentimes, people will do it by default because they want to ensure that everyone hears them, uncensored, since profanity is frequently used with the intent of insulting people.
Bypassing a chatfilter is as simple as replacing a "u" with a "v", an "a" with an "@", and so on. The best way to avoid profanity is to find a well-moderated server that doesn't allow profanity, and disallow or block other servers. Trust me, I run a small server and the only way to catch most profanity is with an actual human moderating.

I personally use IDs in the 12000 range; I'd suggest setting the IDs to somewhere around 12900.
And anicent74 said, please use spoilers in the future.
If it isn't, you can change the IDs in the way that anicent74 explained.

I might eventually do that, but in the mean time you could check out Kirby859's tutorials on how to make content packs.

Read the installation instructions in the OP.

For what reason does it not fit as well as, say, pistons? Or TNT?

Oh, yeah. I forget about that one; haven't worked on a content pack with any models in a while.

If you're going to make an argument, provide reasons to support your viewpoint; don't just say "no i dunt want!".

I just love this, so very much. I especially like the mountain and island biomes. The way they're so small in vanilla seriously disappointed me.

You clearly didn't read the OP...
