I know squat about modding, so I am not even sure if this would be possible and/or simple.


My idea is to be able to point your mouse at a block and then press a button (E, for example), and have a small non-obtrusive read-out or whatnot in the corner that would show you, in block numbers, how far away the block your crosshairs are pointing at is. (Sorry, that was a really long sentence, I didn't know how to divide it up...)

This would be useful for being able to tell whether or not you would be able to survive a fall, or useful for building large horizontal structures.

So, would this be possible for somebody to make? If not that's alright, it's just an idea.

Yeah, that's what I do when I'm using mods and there's an update. There may be another way (or multiple), but that is probably the easiest.

It's totally a noob question, but that's okay, I asked the same thing a while back. XD

All it is is a glitch where it lies down to die, with the red color that comes when a mob gets health damage, but then it doesn't die, and it runs around sideways and red/brown...

It's weird.
